I am curious as to what tools and websites you use to help with MTGO specific issues?

The one I most recently found is http://www.mtggoldfish.com. Recent being a relative term as it may have been a year at this point. It seems pretty good for know what kind of decks in the formats people are using. Also in figuring out the prices of these decks. I mostly use it for the "movers and shakers" aspect where it tells you the cards that gained and lost the most value in the past day and past week. It helped to remind me to sell a big portion of my inquisitions when they spiked a few months ago. Also helped me to think about buying certain cards I want when they drop hard.

Another golden nugget I found is the state of the program article. http://puremtgo.com/articles/state-program-september-25th-2015 It comes out every Friday and gives information on what is happening in the program. Things like special events such and flash back drafts, product release dates, and any interesting news. Years ago I could keep up with this kind of information but I have no idea where they put anything. I am very grateful to the author for what is probably a lot of work put in to find all this information.

From a programming/scripting perspective, I like MTG JSON quite a bit.

F6 is probably my most useful tool.

mtggoldfish is useful for playing Daily Events, because you can look up your opponent's old decklists.

mtgowikiprice is nice because it consolidates a lot of bots in an easily searchable format for buying and selling. It isn't always the best value, but it is pretty close.

I used f6 at first when I was timing out or getting close to timing out. I made it a point to get faster so now I rarely use it. I've seen too many times where on video and now streams that players default to using f6 without thinking due to habit and miss something they wanted to do. That could of happened to me at some point as well but its been so long since I used it I can't remember any incident.

Regarding the history thread from the old forums then remember that they is a new history thread over at mtggoldfish.com. It is probably more updated than the old thread. Although is not entirely objective in the interpretation of certain events.

I am split on mtggoldfish as they seem to be somewhat partisan (deleting innocuous posts (presumably) because of mentioning another site in passing (they didn't say why) inserted because of relevant information, seems overly protective) and insular (just a few writers). The writers also tend to be overly authoritative in tone, without easily accepting criticism. But they are still new so this posturing may change over time. They do have a good deal of content and their tracking of mtgotraders.com and the (I think defunct) supernovabot chain prices is somewhat useful.

gatherling.com is the most helpful mtgo site imho as it hosts the data for tons of PREs which while specialized seems a huge community service. Though with the change in site captains we will have to see how longtimegone runs it.

Puremtgo.com of course provides a lot of diverse content for the game. I am not just saying that because I write there. I have the honor of having written about some of the very eminent other personages on there. And of course there is the interesting system they have of being open to anyone who wishes to be published. All you need to do is write a semi articulate (spell checked and reasonably easy to read) essay and it will be.

As to F6, F8 +F4 +F3 are better suited. Don't hit F6 ever. It is always a trap. Unless you have it remapped to something innocuous.

To be fair I only use mtggoldfish for their movers and shakers and for their metagame. I have not ventured further with them.
