Just imagine if Hearthstone were a paper game and you had to work out these things manually. It makes pre-Sixth rules look so streamlined.

The thing with hearthstone is that they don't need a set of consistent and comprehensive rules, since players don't needs to know what the cards do. Whatever result the ad hoc spaghetti code spits out is what goes.
