One Night in Karazhan is set in Karazhan in the past, before everyone died. Everyone gets the prologue wing free, along with two reward cards. There are four paid wings which cost $6.99 or 700 gold to buy, totaling 45 cards, 13 boss fights, and the usual 9 class challenges. You can preorder the wings together for $19.99 and get a preorder cardback. There are five portal spells, though whether they work like the previewed one is uncertain. |

I was wondering when Hearthstone would print a one mana 2/2. |

So no one is going to talk about the 9 new cards so far? Warlock 1 drop looks like crap. Dude is "good" but no 1 drop by itself is going to fix Succubus. The entire problem with Discard in Hearthstone is that it's completely random. If you could choose the discarded card it might work but randomly losing your turn 3 or 4 screws over the deck too much. Mage cards: The 1 drop might see play, but I don't think the 7 drop will. Think both will be GREAT in arena though. Arena mage getting buffed. Paladin Card: I compare this to the mage 6/3 and feel like Paladin got jipped. It's worth noting that almost half of the cards they can get from this cost . Rogue: Needs another support card to be competitive. So far only 4 cards "activate" this reliably and I wouldn't play 3 of them in a rogue deck. Rogue also has like no support for this kind of strategy right now for other reasons as well. Interesting they are also abandoning raptor a bit. Hunter card: Reminded of Creeper. Druid Card: I don't think this is enough. Barnes: Well **** Nzoth decks sure got a buff. ... This is going to do something stupid and cheesy that people will want nerfed. I just know it. The Curator: Didn't they just nerf a card like this? Um..... Can I get Ysera/Azure Drake, Corrupted Seer, and Stampeding Kodo/Stranglethorn Tiger off of this? Seems like a really strong "gas" card. |

The 1/3 warlock card is fine, but what discard cards would you run with it? Even if you have it in your hand and it survives a turn, Succubus still trades with a 2-drop and Darkshire Librarian becomes a slightly better Loot Hoarder. Those aren't backbreaking advantages. I don't think it is what will make some "Discard Zoo" deck viable. That said, I wonder if some kind of "Miracle Lock" could be made viable by it. Play it, then chain Succubus into Librarian into...? e: New cards Book Wyrm Neutral Minion - Dragon (R) 3/6 Battlecry: If you're holding a Dragon, destroy an enemy minion with 3 or less Attack. Deals with a lot of cards right now, so I wouldn't throw it away outright in some Dragon Priest revival. Moroes Neutral Minion (L) 1/1 Stealth At the end of your turn, summon a 1/1 Steward. Don't see it viable in a world where Ravaging Ghoul exists and Warrior is a top class. |

Discard is going to always be an awful deck until they put something really pushed (like recent shaman cards) in there. Something like the imp won't certainly do it. Discard doesn't work as a deck, funadementally, because the sheer randomness of discard in Hearthstone prevents it from being a deck. It is impossible right now to consistently have a turn 3 anything after a turn 2 discard, and a "good" one drop doesn't fix that fundamental issue. Thus the only discard cards that see play are the ones that fundamentally win the game on the spot and/or the ones you can usually play with an empty hand. |

Book Wyrm might be too slow. Even if it isn't, a lot of the reasons to play it are going to vanish with the first expac of next year. I feel like at best this card will have an 8 month lifespan and more realistically it's not going to see a ton of play. Moroes is utter crap. Unless they have some hidden mecanic to buff it. It takes three triggers for the thing to even see a profit, and it is completely wiped out by every field wipe ever. The only thing I could even think of is a 6 mana combo with the pally 3 drop, which...... doesn't feel that great to me. |

Moroes, where are your horse blinders. Hearthstone team, where is your love for the source material. Firelands Portal is solid, The Curator is bad and makes no sense, Book Wyrm is good, Ivory Knight is okay, Etheral Peddler is bad, potentially decent with support, Barnes is hard to judge but probably good, Moroes is bad, Kindly Grandmother is bad, Babbling Book is bad, Enchanted Raven is great and Maclezaar's Imp will be great if Warlocks get another card on the level of Soulfire. razorborne wrote: Hearthpwn is reliably up to date every expansion. |

The Curator can tutor something like Azure Drake, Corrupted Seer, Stranglethorn Tiger. In a class like Druid or Hunter, who is to say that's a bad thing? I'm pretty sure they just nerfed a card that effectively did the same thing. In the worst case, it will be able to directly tutor any of the 9 or 10 mana dragons, so people will at least test it in things like Freeze Mage. It's not guaranteed to be good, but it has a very high chance to at least be playable. It's not something like Gruul where I just laugh at the thing. |

curator's effect is arguably better than draw 3, which i think is good. there is a reasonably large deckbuilding cost though |
