Forbidden Flame is not that bad, honestly. It's a more flexible Pyroblast with the only downside that it doesn't get discounted by Sorcerer's Apprentice and Thaurissan. Definitely constructed playable, we'll see whether flexibility outweighs synergy.

The card is interesting though you only get up to three copies. I guess you want something like Ysera/Sylvanas/Ragnaros, plus Sludge Belcher to protect them. Chillmaw runs the risk of killing the other. Velen/Malygos for a spell burst?

Would've been so much better if it hit opposing minions instead, and more flavorful.
For most of the exciting things you would use this on, Faceless Manipulator is plain better. In order to fully utilize it, you should go wide with things like Nerubian Egg, Shredder and Knife Juggler or something, but I doubt that is something a Priest can support all that well.

I thought the same, but then I realized that they probably chose to copy friendly minions so that someone could try and build around the card.

Anyway, that out of the way, I'm just going to post two old cards that have been skipped over in this thread (at least I think they have.)



I expect the C'Thun > 10 attack thing to be a class cycle, but I hope the forbidden spells aren't. I don't know if there is enough design space. Give a minion +X/+X would be better than BoK, albeit probably in a class worse at utilizing it. Draw X would be broken, maybe Draw X and lose X life in Warlock. Arcane Missiles for X(+1?) is a possibility. Really though, are there 9 viable and simple options?

I wonder if there are any cards that will say "Reduce the cost of C'Thun by (1)."
