Upside: Can attack and block, elf tribal, don't have to pay the cost the same turn you get the effect so you can get more net mana on the turn you need it, can produce crazy mana by untapping lands that tap for more than one mana.

Downside: What if you don't have 3 lands yet? Vulnerable to removal.
