Why don't we just play nothing but four-mana cards and call it a deck? :)

There seems to be a lot of that going around. Endless supply of 4 CMC cards. It's awesome, my hand is always full. :-)

Thopter decks are made for mid-late-game and playing like 12 cards with 4+ cmc in a lategame deck is pretty common. If all 12 happen to be 4 cmc it looks a little ugly, but I don't see better synergizing cards at higher mana costs. So I'd say go all in and add the Whirler Rogues aswell - this deck doesn't need Epiphany, you're rarely gonna empty your hand ;)

Oh and replace the Foundries with more Guildgates and Islands. You play 3 colours and have double costs in blue and red. You can't afford to play colourless lands. Running out of spells shouldn't be much of an issue, so the times this expensive effect will be needed are rare and not worth hurting the mana base.

Alright I've been super interested in building a solid Jeskai tokens list, so for the past two days Goblin Rabblemaster and I have been testing this deck trying to make it as refined and optimal as possible. The deck ended up going about 26-8(most of the losses are to eldrazi ramp), which is a combination of ladder games and private games. The weakest match up by a long shot is the Ramp Eldrazi decks. The deck has a pretty solid match up vs rdw, mill, midrange, and some control decks. The deck is pretty sweet and sometimes pulls off crazy turns with all the token pump. Overall the deck seems pretty good and beats a fair amount of meta decks, but the match up vs eldrazi ramp will probably make you feel like deleting the deck :D (although the match up can be winnable)

Maybe we missed something, so suggestions are welcome as always!

1 x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
4 x Fiery Impulse
1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
2 x Abbot of Keral Keep
3 x Telling Time
4 x Dragon Fodder
3 x Eldrazi Skyspawner
3 x Spell Shrivel
3 x Kytheon's Tactics
2 x Exquisite Firecraft
3 x Retreat to Emeria
2 x Brutal Expulsion
3 x Unified Front
1 x Coastal Discovery
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
1 x Disciple of the Ring

4 x Plains
4 x Island
4 x Mountain
2 x Prairie Stream
2 x Clifftop Retreat
2 x Sulfur Falls
2 x Glacial Fortress
4 x Evolving Wilds

Hi WeCoexist,
First time posting here just to say, i really liked to play with that deck :D.
As for suggestions, maybe Soulblade Djinn, with so many triggers it should be usefull.. i didn't tested it yet but i see some potencial.

Thanks :D

Ya its a fun deck and definitely has some play to it! I've actually tryed Soulblade Djinn but it wasn't doing that well as a 1 of, but i'll certainly revisit that card if I feel like it will perform better than something else.

Noob question now (don't know if it was coded correctly) if you have Kytheon flip and Gideon is on the board, will one be destroyed as they should?

I always thought any 2 of the same Legendary/Planeswalker "name" on your side of the board counted towards that rule?

Edit: So you couldn't say have Liliana of the Veil and Liliana Vess on your side of the board at the same time?

306.4. If a player controls two or more planeswalkers that share a planeswalker type, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is called the “planeswalker uniqueness rule.” See rule 704.

so yes a flipped kytheon would force you to choose between orgins gideon and ally gideon, in the same way you would if you played two pia and kiran nalaar (hint pick ally gideon he's way better)

Depends on the deck. I find it works wonders in a Thopter deck when you are either getting a guaranteed token each turn or dropping 2-3 creatures per card (preferably both).

In that build? I can see it working but I do agree that it probably wouldn't be my first choice.
