I wanna be running Kahlitas, sinster concoction, and Elusive tormentor; but I feel the mana can't handle it. I opted for avaricious dragon and call the bloodline instead.

Don't underestimate Bloodmad Vampire either. He reall really likes Stensia Masquerade

Opponent whipes you ? Call the bloodline for a 1/1 vamp and a Bloodmad Vampire end of turn. On your turn, hit for 5, madness out Stensia Masquerade, you now have a 2/2 lifelinker, a 6/3 , and a 1/1 lifelinker. See how they like that.

Definitely like that list; seems like an improvement over mine in many ways.

Avaricious Dragon actually seems arguably better than Kalitas, who does not love playing aggro. Also Lightning Axe is just better than Concotion; and if you make these cuts, Elusive Tormentor might just as well take a hike for the Asylum Visitor (or something else, really).
I'm on the fence regarding Call the Bloodline; it seems too slow to me. Instead, Exquisite Firecraft might be the way to go.

One more "whacky" idea: This deck might like Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh; if Call the Bloodline gets cut, there's only 7 non-red cards in the deck, that might be good enough to run her. Might easily prove too inconsistent, though.

Isn't Akoum Firebird better than the Dragon? Haste feels better than iffy Madness enabler, and you can even discard the bird to an Axe to get it back latter.

Deck not gonna get to 6. Unsure. I love Akoum; but as a desperation play, the dragon can get you right back into the match in this deck, if they have removal, akoum is maybe a 4 mana bolt, Dragon's ceiling is way higher, but only has haste with Olivia.

Anyway, you might be right. It's my experience that even in current meta rdw, the dragon can steal games where akoum can't. That doesn't make it a better card, but maybe it's playable in this deck ?

In my experience, the Dragon has been a card that looks much better than it actually is. Dies too easily in this format, and Grasp of Darkness is not going to make that any better. Really like the deck, though

I'm gonna laugh alot at people stuffing their deck full of grasp of darkness only to not have double black t4 It's good removal, but it really binds you heavily to the swamps.

they're more of a bonus than a focus but you're right, I wasn't even thinking about that. the mana base will need some work if I want to see them all that often I guess.

Each time I try to test this deck I only ever get 1-2 lands in the starting hand and mulligans and they're only tap lands. Must be a bug which is annoying.

Question: What do you think about using Indulgent Aristocrat in a vampire deck? I tried him and found him useful especially when the enemy has creature removal and you sacrifice the targeted creature in response.

I haven't played enough with him to have a final word; but I think it depends on how aggressive your deck is. If you're very aggressive, he's not good as you'll rarely have 2 mana open to use his ability. If you're a bit slower, he might be really good (especially with Call the Bloodline), but decks using the latter idea have not been incredibly successful in the past.

Indulgent might be decent if you're very fast. If you get to T3 with 3 vamps ready to attack vs 1 blocker you can sacrifice the blocked vamp for +2 +2 (or +3 if you played another 1 cost vamp this turn). Hedeges a bit against board wipes while developing board and makes opponent leary about blocking with something they value as you can sacrifice to kill it. Just my thoughts, only saved up enough gold to get 2/3ds of the new cards so I've not tested anything yet. But BR aggro vamps + auras is one of the decks that I want to try, think it might be decent there's a nice amount of 1 and 2 cost vamps.

Vampire Madness
Here is a deck I've fallen in love with and is currently undefeated. Don't have all the cards yet, so looking for some advice on what to add and drop when I finally get all the boosters. I'm also not very good at figuring out the best land distributions for my decks. Going to drop the Wolf of Devil's Breach, I usually have better options to play, so he just sits in my hand to be discarded if need be. After reading the last few post, was thinking of replacing him with Avaricious Dragon now. Sinister Concoction is pretty sweet, after testing it out I think I'll add some more. Lightning axe is amazing, but the concoction would of been better in a few situations.
