Hey Kryder, like I said I have only really played a few games with this deck, so there's a lot it hasn't come up against yet, including sweepers. Also, to be honest, climbing the ladder I have faced a lot of poorly constructed decks, which is why I wanted to throw it out there for others to comment on. But I have been really pleased with how it's been running. I draw a LOT of cards, which helps smooth out a number of potential problems. So far I haven't felt short on creatures; I'd rather be sacking my opponents' whenever possible. Altar's Reap is an interesting one because it's pretty poor if you're sacking your own stuff (although it can work with Myr and Stone tokens), but feels like a pretty good deal when it's your opponents'. Most of the time I'd rather have Vampiric Rites, but I only own two and I'm not sure if I'd even want three since it sucks to get redundant ones. Anyway, without Husks I need more sacking outlets. I got really excited the other day when I realized Smothering Abomination lets you draw cards for ANY sacrifice, not just its upkeep. Makes me want to pair it with Evoleap.
The one concern I have is that it's so expensive to steal and sack without Husks. That's where I potentially see this deck coming up short. But I'll continue to play it until I feel it's underperforming. Would love to hear your results!
No worries, bro. I understand it is a concept...not honestly expecting great results, but I have been wrong a few times in my life, this could be one of those times /sarc.
I'm probably leaving work soon (feeling sic, cough cough) and I'll throw something together on this shell and see what I can do with it.
