Sure, work on it, but I'd be surprised if it ends up being competitive.

This is what I'm playing with. I want it to be a aggro-control deck of some sorts with a skew to 3 colors and splashing the two others.

1 x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
3 x Serene Steward
3 x Kor Bladewhirl
1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy

3 x Drana's Emissary
2 x Lantern Scout
2 x Veteran Warleader
1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer

3 x Bloodbond Vampire

3 x Unified Front
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
2 x Munda, Ambush Leader

2 x Hero of Goma Fada

1 x Kiora, Master of the Depths
3 x Skyrider Elf

Also, how do I fix the links in my signature. I want people to click on the name of the deck and not the link.

This is what I rubbed together...It's a skew to Abzan colors splashing and . Jace and Telling Time are there to sift through the deck to find lands and relevant spells. Impulse is for the aggro matchups. Reprisal is for the mid to long games where they drop a big body (doesn't kill Gaea's Revenge, Ulamog the Ceaseless Hunger, or Plated Crusher), as well as Goblin Glory Chaser + Call of the Full Moon combos.

1 x Jace, Vryn's Prodigy
3 x Telling Time

4 x Fiery Impulse
2 x Munda, Ambush Leader

1 x Liliana, Heretical Healer
3 x Drana's Emissary

2 x Evolutionary Leap
2 x Veteran Warleader
1 x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
1 x Kiora, Master of the Depths

1 x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
3 x Serene Steward
3 x Reprisal
2 x Lantern Scout
3 x Unified Front
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
2 x Hero of Goma Fada

4 x Evolving Wilds
2 x Sunpetal Grove
2 x Canopy Vista
2 x Glacial Fortress
2 x Prairie Stream
2 x Isolated Chapel
2 x Shambling Vent
2 x Plains
2 x Swamp
2 x Forest
2 x Mountain
1 x Island

OK, as promised (although a day late), here's an update to the 5CC decklist and 10-game series!

First, the decklist and changes:
Original decklist:
Spoiler

Current decklist:
Spoiler

Changes made:
Spoiler

So, onto the games:

Gm 1, Rank 36, Control? It had counters. I went 1st. Turn 7 Ulamog forced a concession. Win.
Gm2, Rank 40, IzzetThopters. I went 2nd. All was going well for him until Radiant Flames and Languish showed up. Win.
Gm3, Rank 40, Smothering Husk. I went 2nd. I like the deck, but even if you keep the Husk alive from a sweeper (which happened twice this game), you are still only left with a 2/2. Win.
Gm4, Rank 36, Control? (same guy from game 1). I went 2nd. Much longer game this time. He got Ulamog out, exiling 2 of my Planeswalkers. I then Ulamog'd his Ulamog. He conceded soon after. Win.
Gm5, Rank 37, BUG. I went 1st. Moss'd 3 times, but it did not start until after turn 6. Other than that, I played 2 sweepers and finished with Oblivion Sower and Gideon beatdown. Win.
Gm6, Rank 39, Golgari Control. I went 1st. I've seen a couple of these floating around these last few days. They look rather impressive. Next time I face one, I'll write it down and share, it does a good job against this deck. I might, MIGHT, be 50% against them. This game, he Oblivion Sower'd me Twice and played Ulamog on me. I then played Angelic Edict and got him with an assortment of creatures. Win.
Gm7, Rank 40, IzzetThopters. I went 1st. This deck just folds to a sweeper, Vile Aggregate or no. Really not scary at all anymore. Win.
Gm8, Rank 40, 5cc. I went 2nd. This looked very similar to this deck, but he had Woodland Wanderer which he cast turn 4...he didn't live very long. We went back and forth for most of the game, him gaining an obscene amount of life, I just drew a lot. He waited for me to play my Ulamog first, then he Ulamog'd mine. I then played Angelic Edict. And then drew 3 lands and a Natural Connection while a 4/4 land beat me down. Loss. Very good game, we were both down to the lower teens for cards in our libraries.
Gm9, Rank 40, Gruul Monsters. I went 1st. This guy had the perfect anti-aggro start: 3 Jaddi Offshoot and 2 Gatecreeper Vine by turn 5 IIRC. So didn't care. I played my own Jaddi, ramped up, played a sweeper, found Oblivion Sower, got Ulamog, profit. Win.
Gm10, Rank 40, Gruul Monsters. I went 2nd. Same guy I played last game, only 20 minutes later. He gets stuck at 4 land and concedes when I get up to 9 on turn 5. I played around and got Ulamog out to mill him to see his deck. He had 23 land in the deck...needed more lands, and it showed. I guess he was counting on Blisterpod getting him mana... Win.

So, 9-1...Mega, you should be happier with that outting.

Thoughts at this point: both Sire of Stagnation and Kiora, Master of the Depths have been serious underachievers. Sire comes out and they either deal with him immediately or I don't draw him. He's been pretty uninspiring so far. I might replace him with another Angelic Edict, which has always been a great card to draw. Kiora has been pretty good for searching/taking hits/ramping, but out of the remaining Planeswalkers, she's the least exciting for me to find. I'll probably keep her as she is very versatile.

Anyways, I appreciate any comments, questions, and suggestions for the deck. It is pretty fun to play and can do some ridiculous things, but you have to be on your A game when playing; it's pretty easy to screw up if you are not paying attention.

Alright son! You got an A! We're going to the Waffle House tonight! That's my boy!

I'd hate to see you cut Sire of Stagnation, but I could certainly get behind another Angelic Edict. I think that card became all kinds of valuable with the DLC. If only you had a YouTube channel or streamed.. I'd love to watch this.

Sire looks so good but he's such a bench warmer for me...I never search him out with From Beyond, which to me is telling. I think the second Edict is the right call in the meta...you'll notice not a RDW in sight tonight. Probably varience.

I have never streamed nor posted on YouTube. Not sure anyone would find me all that instructions or entertaining. If there is any interest, PM me.

Glad I could give you your one loss Kryder  It's only fitting that this deck loses to itself and no other.

I agree with the cutting Clutch, Sire and possibly Jace.

I 100% agree on replacing Clutch with another Angelic Edict.

I haven't tried Sire in this deck but I have him in my esper control deck and I've only had his ability triggered once... Either your opponent kills him on the spot or has enough lands to cast their other spells, buy time and hold off on playing lands until they find an answer. I can see how ramping this guy out on turn 5 in this deck, while the opponent is still needing to make his land drops, would be AMAZING but the chances of that happening are pretty slim. I'd rather have my one of woodland wanderer (who will always come down as a 6/6 in this deck, draw the same amount of attention removal-wise, can trample over chumpers if they dont have an immediate answer and hey, why not block on the back swing for added value).

I don't know how I feel about Pilgrim's Eye. So far ive been playing this deck without any Pilgrims and my mana has been more than spectacular. Pilgrim's eye just gives my opponent a target for their weak burn and removal that would otherwise be dead in hand.

Jace has also been unspectacular in this deck, but i'm hesitant to cut him just yet (especially for a pilgrim's eye). Flashing something back has come in handy a time or two and shrinking their only creature forces the opponent to commit more to the board giving more value to my wipes. Looting aint too shabby either ;)

The one of rolling thunder has been very good for me. It beats up on aggro decks just fine and has taken out quite a few planewalkers (including your Ob Nixilis, Kryder :D). I do understand your reasoning for cutting it due to Acid Moss cutting off access to double red. However, because the opponent has so many colors to choose from, it's less likely they'll choose to cut off your second red source. Kiora does help with the mana requirements quite a bit as well.

All in all, great deck with a very high win percentage! I love the payoff this deck gives for being a solid player. I'll continue to stick with it until the meta finds an answer.

Thanks for the welcome mega. I gotta give the credit to Kryder for that win though. It's his version of 5C converge that I was using during our match (with a few minor tweaks).

I did give Pilgrim's Eye the good ole college try and immediately regretted my decision... I swapped out Jace, Rolling Thunder and Woodland Wanderer for the 3 pilgrim's. I won my first match and lost the 2nd game to a black/blue ingest control shell... Though Pilgrim's eye does help fix the mana and keeps the land drops flowing, it just didn't do enough and I found myself flooding out in both games.

So I swapped Jace, Thunder and Wanderer back in for the next match against Thopters and was happy I did. Jace, as usual, took a fiery impulse to the face before I could get a loot out of him BUT that allowed my Jaddi Offshoot to remain on the board and prevent his Perilous Myr from attacking. The subsequent life gain was enough to prevent his 4/3 flyer from dropping me into Exquisite Firecraft range; giving me enough time to eventually drop big Ula-daddy, prompting a swift scoop from my opponent.

Again, I like the rolling thunder against both aggro and control decks to pick of weenies or take out a planeswalker and woodland wanderer is just silly.

Other than that my build is the same as Kryder's. Thanks for the sweet deck!

Hey, I thought I recognized you! Cool deal, bro!

Couple of things...Jace is a good value card, and he may go back in, but he doesn't warrant a spot in the current meta IMO. Especially if I am playing 2 Angelic Edict.

Pilgrim's Eye is insurance...I had a few games with ramp but no green mana. While its not necessary most times, it has been relevant, and it would have in our game. You stalled at 4 mana for 2 turns while I ramped to 9. Yes, you did catch up, but it could have been relevant.

Rolling Thunder is a card I might try and make back into the deck as a miser. It's a good finisher, removal, Planeswalker exterminator, etc... Just had a bad experience.

Anyways, glad you like the deck.

Mega, I will take you up on Waffle House, especially after your comment :P.

Cheers!

No. Waffle House is only for red-blooded Americans, who ooze patriotism, and have the second amendment tattooed on their body. You will have to settle for a hot date to a drag bar with Darkstar, afterwards you can poke his Dirtstar.

hey who's Conflux deck is better, Kryder's or Covert's?

A drag bar is where we Americans go to find Canadians. :P

Yes.. drag as in drag queens.

I like Kryder's list.. but I'll probably meld it with Legenvd's list bc I want more creatures.

Because mine durdles too much for you, I am sure. Mine is more 5 Color Control. Most list are 5 Color good stuff. Really, the difference mostly I don't do the Converge creatures, as I don't feel they are necessary.

As far as whose is better, it depends on your playstyle. I don't think mega would do as well with mine as with a mashup because of his playstyle difference.

Nevius tested my Conflux Allies on twitch (you can go look at the replay here http://www.twitch.tv/nevius22/profile). It should be the most recent stream. Went with a 4-0 record then lost 2 games, 1 to Turbo-Fog and a very close match against x2 Gaea's Revenge. His overall record was 4-2...which is decent. I at least will not be surprised by the ease of the manabase.
