I guess I'll be the first to contribute to this thread. Yeah, 4 color archetypes aren't very viable right now. But with the tri-lands coming soon if the rumors about the Alara DLC are true, I could easily take the list I have right now and tweak the manabase and it should be viable. I have made Grixis, Esper and America Control lists and there is something about all of them that I really like and something about all of them that I wish they had access to, so this is pretty much my attempt to include everything that I want to include from this cardpool in a control deck. Like I said, with the manabase as it is right now, it's not really viable. But just use your imagination lol. By the way, it's got premiums.

Finishers - The best of the best that these colors can offer in my opinion. The only other finisher I really want to be able to include is Griselbrand, but that's definitely not gonna work with the way the manabase is right now, and it may still be a stretch even when/if we get the tri-lands.
Permission - Had to cut something to be able to include the Ingots with everything else I wanted to include, and
Nullify's cost-to-benefit ratio was too restrictive anyway. If I gotta get out double blue for a counter, it had better counter anything. I'm looking at you, Dissolve. Negates I still had to include for backup against removal for my finishers. Man, I wish we had gotten something like Sphinx of Jwar Isle or one of the 'lings. Hey, I can dream, can't I?
Removal - Again, best of the best. Except for maybe Angelic Edict, but I like that it is so broad in its targets and that it really really takes care of them permanently. As a 1-of, with the Charmbreaker Devilses, I think it's worth including.
