I want to keep the theme but tweak it more. So far I am really feeling like the rescues don't need to be here. They are so pricey and I almost always would be rather casting other cards. I think in their place the one drop 2/1 hero would be a very welcome addition.

Also with all the 3 and 5 drops in the current state, I am feeling unsure about the 23 lands.

EDIT: May be wise to do

-2 Rescues
-1 whispering

+3 Hero

Stevo, i LOVE this deck. Just managed to win vs control having only a brain maggot + multiple cloudshifts/undyings. His frustration was delicious :D

Thanks to Force for doing another one my decks!

Not sure where he got the Tormented Heros from though, but they're a fair enough addition with Heroic I suppose.

BTW, if you read this Force, you can link to the actual decks by clicking on the red link after "Post Subject:" above each post rather than just the page in general. Hope that helps!

Maybe he glanced at the forums and got a little bit of my deck in there, since I know mine was posted right above yours (and I remember distinctly us talking about how similar they were).

Good lord, the AI is something special near the end of the first game. And why'd he bansher priest the brimaz when he could kill it on-board?

There's some sneaky editing going on at the conclusion of match 2.

He calculates the damage, and states the player (AI really) is dead on the board, then it cuts to the victory screen. HOWEVER, the AI is not dead as it has an Elixir, which it has the mana to sac, and will leave it on 1 life. The AI never forgets to do this, and the video cuts to victory screen before the combat bar ends. The AI did not lose that turn and he pretended it did!

My wild conspiracy theory is he put the AI on 1 life, then it cast Planar Cleansing, which he could have prevented by Cloudshifting the Maggot. Then it got the Baneslayer back because he also forgot to Undying the Banisher, and he decided to cover up his shame and hope we didn't notice! :D

I'm an editor by trade though, so I notice a suspicious cut when I see one. :P

Stevo I think he got the hero from my recommendations earlier about adding it to your deck.

This is a discard / grave control deck, dedicated to reducing opponents hand while exiling the grave. Everyone is using the graveyard now to their advantage, and the rotfeaster maggot will punish them for it.

Felidar sovereign is a decent backup win con with this much life gain.

Get rid of Monomania...seriously, bad, bad card unless they are playing control (in which case, you've made them discard a counter most times). Same thing for the Specter...that is helping their recursion game plan in most cases.

Play 2-3 Angelic Edict...most recursion decks you mentioned rely on Seance, which never comes back after they've been Edict'd. Fill in the rest with more creatures, preferably flyers so you can close out the game against recursion/aggro decks.

I'll put together a decklist when I get home, time permitting.

Yeah for Anti-Seance/Spider decks you want to be playing RWB so you can exile the bejeezus out of them with Anger, Edict, and StP.
