I just played T4 Battledriver into T5 Rabblemaster plus Krenko's Command then swung for 19 and the game. Nice deck here, Monk, I'm impressed.

The only change I've made is the one we discussed on XBLA, and that is to sub out Stormbreath Dragon in favor of Inferno Titan.

Lol, I too have drew my entire deck. My favourite play was against a spider spawning deck. The board was stalled so I just sat there activating jalira and got all the creatures out of my deck including both battledrivers. I then cracked my 24/24 chasm skulker that had grown thanks to rabblemaster and mentor and attacked with 23 5/1s.

Ok, Gotta give you props monk. Not a fan of tokens. Especially the way they are in 2015. But, this sparked my interest. Soo many cards Im not using at all in any deck. Jalira included. But, Ran this a few times so far and love it. A lot of fun. So far jalira never pops. Always removed. But, This is now my goto Token deck. Didn't think I'd ever touch them after the first week, made my own G/W deck thought it was too powerful, then faced it like every other match. So gave up on them. kudos man. It's a keeper. A lot of fun for Tokens.

Thanks man,I was the same, all of the powerful archetypes have been done to death. I like all of my decks to be competitive but I am trying to create some decks that are fun to play. This one is great fun and fortunately is quite competitive too.

I have cut the squadron hawk add it felt mediocre at best. I have added 2 phantom general and 2 anger of the gods. The only decks I was losing to was token decks and aggro decks. Anger does a good job here and it isn't hard to hold your own spells until after the sweeper.

Might be a good Idea. Haven't played much last couple days, work.....But, Squadron don't do a lot for me. Still have to test the deck more. Same thing with Jilara, have yet to get use out of her except to eat removal. lol

I've been using monk's deck with the additions of 2 phantom generals, but made these changes

-2 shock
-2 anger of the gods
-1 jalira

+3 reprisal
+2 divine verdict

This kind of deck needs SOME removal, it was frustrating having to concede against an inferno titan because there was simply nothing I could draw or do to possibly win.

Opponent had arbor colossus out just before casting the titan and I felt boned then let alone two 6/6+ creatures out.

I think I'll also drop mentor of the meek mainly because I haven't drawn and played it yet, and secondly because I know that when I do it's a dead drop. It combos well with rabblemaster on turn 4, otherwise seems a bit useless and slow. Unsure whether to replace for more removal or more aggro. Also may drop chasm skulker, but at that point bident is looking to go as well, and blue completely. I wouldn't even consider blue if it werent for military intelligence

Anyway just my thoughts, overall good deck.

I haven't tested the deck, but I don't think dropping Anger would be a good option at all. I can see the need for some heavier removal, so dropping the 2 shocks for 2 reprisals may be a good idea. I've found that running 3 reprisals is usually too much (especially when you have a bunch of draw, 2 should be plenty). If you are going to run divine verdict, imo, you might as well just go for gold and use the much better Angelic Edict for the 1 more cost. If you are not finding Jalira very helpful maybe dropping her for a single Edict would work better.

While this is obviously not the first steal deck in here, I decided to post mine which I notice favors Fling, Blasting Station, and Goblin Rabblemaster over the Talrand "give them flying 2/2's" interaction. I'd rather give them a goblin token or a hatchling. I also value very much being able to stop timer after attackers are declared and Quicken + Steal spell + Block their creatures with one of their creatures, usually killing both. Very much. iPad players seem to force-quit their app at suspicious times with this. Blah.

Nice man, but if you're going to give them anything it should be soldier tokens. I never let them have one of my drakes. If one is about to be bounced out or taken I'd rather give my opponent some face and sac the drake before I'd let them have it or disappear it.
And, why waste the time to Quicken and use an offensive card in a defensive gesture? You don't want the creature you stole to die... yet..
Steal it before your combat and swing it. 90% chance they won't block it as that will either kill their defender, kill the creature you stole that they think they get back at the end of the turn or kill both. Either way they are out a creature.
So you get the damage in and then you either keep it, or burn their face and sac their critter so they don't get it back and are way farther down than they could have been.

I hear ya. About the Quicken, it was added so I obviously could do the same shenanigans on their turn. You know how they go all out attacking once they realize what you are up to, and most people aren't expecting you have a way to defend in the same way. For me, it's earned it's keep for the psy-ops factor, you do this to them once and they get paranoid the rest of the game when you have 4-5 land open. And sometimes there's no other sac outlet in sight for your next Betrayal other than their other creatures, that's where I've appreciated this card. I also think of it as a way to help keep up with multiple creature drops per turn too.

I want to lazily shove 2 Anger of the Gods in mine somewhere for the times there's too many tokens to deal with, but then again, on the iPad where the Rankings are governed by the people who know when to force-quit-app, token whores seem to be the only guys that stick around to the proper end against this. (I can't have them quitting too!) I'm on the fence about Anger, thinking about it a lot, there's only 2 after all. You? What would you cut from your deck for that? (Supposing it was a requirement)

That's a stumper.
If it's a requirement to run Anger....
I would have to drop my Tallywacker wincon. That's the only thing that seems logical as he and his drake brood would be wiped out and negate the moves made to set him out and build the airforce.

Glad no one is forcing me to run Anger. lol
