Kithkin_FieldMarshall is pretty much in charge of this thread because he's the one who's put the most work by far into finding art for this set. The spoiler is up on starstill.com. If you find an art that you think would work for a card, post it into the thread for KFM to incorporate into his set file. KFM tells me he's already found images for over 100 cards. There's an 3-image limit per post, and that will limit KFM's ability to show us his work, but I'm sure we'll find a way to make it happen. KFM, is there an online gallery uploader you can upload the images to, and just link us to that? The biggest challenge will be getting permission from the artists to use their arts. I've created a DeviantArt account; as we accumulate art, I'll be sending PMs to the artists asking for permission to use it. How do you guys think that we should handle this? Should we make it as much a community effort as the rest of the project has been—IE, take a few cards at a time, have people find images for them, and them vote on them for each card? Or just let KFM do his thing, with the community interjecting if he picks an image people don't feel fits? |

Thanks to all who have got us to this point in the project. Special thanks to ParadOxymoron for all his effort in doing the MSE set for me to just plug images into... I am going to try to do my best to bring Starstill to life..... If you would like to send me images for the set, try to make sure they are 800x600 minim, stops the image looking funny. Those pictures are looking pretty damn sweet so far. Many of them look they were drawn for the card specifically. I've spent many hours picking over pictures for custom cards, but you have a special knack. |

I have removed all cards from my photo bucket.I have started to load by each color. I feel that once each color is done, I will only post so the sets color can be judged as a whole and corrected..... These are pretty good. Since the good stuff doesn't really need work, I'll just point out a few that could use work: Weathered Cloak - This is more of a cloak and weather than a weathered cloak. Cutthroat Automaton - Looks sweet but I'd like to see something that hints at it's shapeshifting ability. Collector of Antiquities - Looks too much like an elf. Sleep Cycle - Looks too much like a creature card. I would use Unwoven Spellstuff's art for Archeomancer and give Unwoven Spellstuff a pic of swirly magic shapes or something. Wraith's Whisper - I would recrop the art to focus more on the wraith whispering to the guy. Right now it looks a bit like a creature card. Irondeep Spelunker - Opposite problem. The spelunker's not the focus of the pic. Don't think cropping will solve this one. Bahraz - You'll need to run it past CKY. It's his character so he gets final say. Seal of Shattered Steal - Doesn't look as seal-y as the others. Raid The Ruins - This makes viashino tokens, not elementals like in the art. Hellish Snowstorm - Too much focus on the dragon. Tyrant Wurm - This is already the art for a Magic card. Innistrad or a core set from around that time I believe. Blooming Marlbark - This is Vengevine I would swap the art for Glimmerhide and Adaptive Yeti. Adaptive looks way more glittery. |

According to the actual creators of Aloise: Aloise is currently a twenty three year old woman with short blond hair and bright blue eyes. But this art looks sort of like she has reddish hair? Am I colourblind? |
