You can't vote for yourself. The winner picks a rarity and writes a criterion for the next round. The person who sets the criterion can't make a card for their own round, but they can vote for the winner. This is the thread for cards. I'll set the first criterion: Black Uncommon. Create a card that has different effects depending on which card type it interacts with. For example, a card that says, "Choose one—Destroy target creature; or return target artifact from your graveyard to your hand."

So I think I'd like to push snow in an interesting way. Snowlide Snow Sorcery Destroy target creature or land. If a land is destroyed this way, add to your mana pool. If a creature is destroyed this way Put a 3/3 colorless golem snow artifact creature token onto the battlefield. |

Illpyre Djinn -- Creature - Djinn (U) When Illpyre Djinn enters the battlefield, exile the top card of your library. If it's a creature card, put +1/+1 counters on this equal to its power, otherwise target player loses 3 life. The cruelest conditions to satiate the cruelest of intentions. 3 / 3 ==xx== I'm implying that the "name" of the sunny side is Illpyre. If it doesn't get a name, or if that isn't its name Illpyre can change. |

Scavenged Plans Sorcery (U) Target opponent reveals his or her hand. Choose a card from it. That player discards that card. You may search your library for a card that shares a card type with the discarded card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. If you do, shuffle your library. |

Thought Harvest Instant Target player opponent discards a card. If an artifact, creature, enchantment, land, or planeswalker card is discarded this way, put it onto the battlefield under your control. If an instant or sorcery card is discarded this way, you may cast it without paying its mana cost. |

Black Ice Enchantment - Aura Enchant Permanent If enchanted permanent is a land, Black Ice deals 2 damage to that land's controller whenever that land becomes tapped. If enchanted permanent is a nonland, at the beginning of that permanent's controller's upkeep Black Ice deals 2 damage to that player unless he or she pays , where X is equal to that permanent's converted mana cost. |

Cato's card seems to whiff very often... dat land. And triple color spells feel more rare than uncommon. I vote for Shazzeh. |

Very few of these excite me, a lot of them are very awkward, but I guess I have a slight inclination towards Shazzeh. |

Confused. I think it's a really clever card because there are presumably going to be a lot of enchantments or artifacts that turn into creatures, and his card hoses them extra hard. Might be too strong as removal, though. Maybe -4/-2 or something. |

Make a black common from the sunny side that likes a specific card type, other than artifact. |
