I think prowess would be really good in general, and that Dash would be good for R/G ETB Beats.dec

Prowess is a must. It fits so dang well, and now that it's evergreen we have a "use this mechanic for free" card. Menace and scry are available at no cost too, but they don't scream, "Use me!" the same way.
Dash would make a lot of sense, but I'm still holding out for a mechanic that lets me play enchantments at instant speed (for an alt cost) and sac them at end of turn, and dash would eat up that design space.

Burst X (You may cast this nonland permanent spell at instant speed for its burst cost. If you do, it gains haste. Sacrifice it at end of turn.)

Actually pretty dope if you ask me.

Burst is neat as a sort of universal dash mechanic, but I'd rather see mechanics that are distinctive of just one card type. Plus I still like the alternate cost cast this enchantment with flash but sac it at eot better, and this would step on its toes.

Ok what is it about this "damn Starstill you have too many mechanics"

RTR and GTC each had 5 new mechanics

We have relics, engrave, oblation, and mastery

Did I forget any?

You forgot to include good mechanics.

It's much easier to let slide a bunch of new mechanics if they're good ones.
