That's kind of shocking. This is slightly better as a creature... I don't know it still seems healthier to put it at uncommon but I'll vote for it anyway because it feasibly could be common and is definitely awesome.

I view it a little like Miracle. Miracle was an ability that was a lot more powerful outside its block/standard (in combination with library-arrangement stuff like Brainstorm and topdeck tutors) than in a controlled environment.

With M15 adding Heliod's Pilgrim and Boonweaver Giant it seems the aurasearch/aurafreecast is a direction they're supporting (Auratouched Mage wasn't just a one-off). Without library arrangement, this will whiff a lot (I considered a Jalira, Master Polymorphist style 'dig until you find one' wording but opted against). With library arrangement, it's powerful, but then so are Bonfire of the Damned / Temporal Mastery / Terminus but that didn't prevent their existence.

Assuming you activate this T2, no mulligan, going first, and there are 4 conscription in your 52 card library, a 5 card-deep search will have a 34% chance of hitting Conscription.
Mmmm. Mmmm. Mmmm.
Oh, but I guess you do have to draw it, which is also roughly 40% not including mulligans.

IDK what to think of those numbers, but they sound better (less broken) than I thought it would be.
