The scavengers of Illpyre pride themselves on their bone bracelets. On one wrist they carry the remains of those they have slain in battle, and on the other, those of their companions who have died in the heat.

Enchantment - Aura
Whenever a creature dies, put a +1/+1 counter on enchanted creature.
Those of Illpyre have learned that everything should be put to use, especially the possessions of the dead.


Hope yall don't mind a newcomer to this.


EDIT: changed the card to be a time-shifted version of Sadistic Glee. I feel it fits the flavor of the plane.

Thoughts on the entries:
Scavenger's Strength - It works.
Warden of the Wild - Quite good alongside a token maker. Surprised more cards like this haven't been made.
Forest Communent - Doesn't seem common. Eh, maybe in this set. Would take up a "great big common green dude" slot.
Remnants of the Fallen - Also not common. A neat engine, but what would you really want to draft three of them? I am incensed that a newcomer would dare show the gall to- naw I kid, welcome to the board.
Resurgence of Strength -I like this card. On the one hand it's a terrible effect for the mana cost, on the other you don't really use up a card. Would trigger the heck out of all sorts instants-matter cards and might need to be retconned into an uncommon because of it.

I vote for TPzombieW, Might of the Masses fits the bill perfectly. Nuts and bolts spells don't need to innovate, just be functional, and Might sums up the entire deck you're supposed to draft in one line of text.

Arqwart's timeshifted spell is nice for similar reasons, but at today's power level it's like a 12th pick, which doesn't showcase the theme much at all. Meanwhile, Might is an archetype-defining 5th or even higher pick, or at least has the potential to be.

I think Parad's is good as an uncommon. It's VERY good in limited. It's strictly better than Groundswell, and slightly better than Mirran Mettle. And those were both very good cards.
