I'm still not sure about this guy. He went through a million changes. I wanted to make a creature that could do like, anything with lands, but I think the only ability that is interesting is the last one. Is the last one enough? I might up his numbers to a 6/6 and maybe give him something that synergizes better, like putting a +1/+1 counter on him when you play a land or something.
Genetic Schism Creature - Shapeshifter (R) Genetic Schism ignores power and toughness modifiers. (For itself and other creatures.) Occasionally natures nods to perfection. 5/5

He's very strong as well. A better lanowar elf will likely have people upset, but it seemed like such a natural Forest Dweller card and I wanted to push its power level to make it more interesting.

Territorial Expansion Sorcery (M) Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal X land cards. Put the revealed cards into your hand. You may play X additional lands this turn.
Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else. Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either mono-cellular or mutant aberrations.
