I won't pretend to be familiar enough with the NGA constructed format to comment on the balance of these cards, or anything mechanical like that. But, from a flavor perspective, I think these are pretty much dead-on, and I just love how you've incorporated the Jakkard atmosphere into the play dynamics.

Huge "yea" from me. If this was a printed product, I'd buy it faster than a fox counting his money. :D

I left a big 'ol post in the original thread, in which I also commented on the Taramir set to offer some explanation for why I'm going Yea here.

I really enjoyed this series. While I think there were certainly one or two misses, either in terms of flavor or mechanics, I really like the collection as a whole. Very flavorful, very Jakkard. Plus, there were a bunch of references to my various songs and poems, so that's neat!

Yea from me.

So, I love what you're doing here to a pretty unreasonable degree, CKY. This is an amazing product that's really captured Jakkard in ways that I always hoped it could be captured.

That said, there's a few issues that came up as I was looking through the cards that I want to flag here.

I'm sort of eeeh on "fastest strike in the wastes." It just pushes things a little into Un territory, a little too far for my tastes, particularly when we have templates like "creatures you control gain First Strike, all other creatures lose First Strike" to do something fairly similar to this.

Josiah T. is pretty off-color for Foxes. I think that character could be represented in UW rather than BG, and it stands out as odd to me and maybe a push too far off the color pie for this race?

I'm still a little concerned that Iron Prospector will be a dead card, though I'm less worried about it now that I'm looking at it again.

Cosette references Fisco but there's no Fisco card... I feel like that strengthens the ties between this and the larger NGAC but I worry that it comes at the cost of weakening the set's playability as a stand-alone.

City Connections seems super flavorful but barely useful considering that Citizen is an almost exclusively token-based creature type.

Outside of these concerns I want to emphasize again that this is fantastic stuff and I think you've hit on some great mechanics here for Jakkard. I'm not even voting NAI at this point, this stuff is more areas of concern that I'd like to talk over before finalizing my vote, not like strict demands for what must be changed, if that makes sense.

The logic on quickest strike in the Waste is, if anyone could do it, it would be Jackie DeCoeur.

Josiah T. Brandt is based on the character from Mistakes of the Past, who doesn't strike me as very white or blue. I work with what I can get.

Iron Prospector and City Connections were made for the larger NGA Constructed format. They're still good in the decks they're in because Iron Prospector can pay for wild card abilities or block creatures, while City Connections fuels a stream of tokens and Citizen cards.

Cosette is plenty powerful on her own. As I said earlier, her ability is flavor text most of the time.

Thanks, by the way. I'm glad you liked Wild Cards!
