Aria is technically already in the Expanded Multiverse (Status: Public). This vote is for her new dossier, which tweaks some material, reduces her age-at-present by 6 years, and adds a little more emphasis on her Fey nature.

I think of everything you've done changing the age is the most significant change, and definitely the one I most emphatically agree with. Emphasizing the memory hook is also the right choice I think.

I definitely approve of this change.

I don't really know what's been changed with her – I admit I might not have a copy of her old entry since I'm completely unfamiliar with her – but I do like the character a lot. I can almost kind of relate since I have considered that, if I were to suddenly become a 'walker and run into problems, I would become a paranoid mess because I would assume my pursuers would be able to follow me thru the aether.

Yeah, I like this character - never caught up to her while I was scanning the archives, but the retcon seems solid. Both stories are good as well.

I didn't have all that clear of a sense of Aria from the original posting, and I think the retcon works just fine. I do have one question, however. I saw in the original thread that Aria was tagged in a story called "Mistaken," which I haven't read yet. Does this retcon affect that story, or do we need to do something further to get the two to jive?

I don't think it should affect it, no. Well, maybe in the sense that now that she's been retconned younger she'll presumably be a teenager in that story, but honestly that fits better with the story itself and its themes so... meh.

One of these days I'll just read it, but it hasn't been high on my list of priorities yet. I might be able to get to it tonight, though, because I'm at work, and while I was hoping to write here, I'm...really not in a good mental place to do that today.

Okay, I went ahead and read Mistaken, and yeah, I'm not seeing any character conflict. Aria then reminds me a lot of Lourima now, though not quite as dark. So yeah, now I feel I can in good conscious vote "Yea" for this.
