It says a lot to many, especially for how little. |

Imma abstain 'cause I feel like I would need to know more about these characters to have any real idea what's going on, but the writing is good. |

I remember this one. It's a very short piece, but manages to do a lot for both characters. |

This is a wonderful reminder that you can say a lot by saying very little. "Yea" from me. Also, I think Raven just wants to be able to lay claim to having the longest and shortest stories in the Archive. |

While that would be awesome, sadly, I don't think I'll ever beat A Day in the Life of an Obstinate Baloth. At a mere 61 words (52 if you don't count the title) I suspect that will be our shortest story for quite some time. Meanwhile, if you extend it to poems, I believe Aaarrrgh has the record with Avacyn and Griselbrand at 50 words (47 without the title). |

The fact that you have these statistics at your disposal both amazes and terrifies me. To be fair, I looked them both up, though I selected them by memory (which is why I can't be completely sure I haven't forgotten a shorter one, although I don't think I have.) I do, however, have a comprehensive list of my own stuff that includes word count. "Spinning Clock" is my shorted posted work at a mere 102 words. My longest work is nearly 2167 times longer than that, and you can probably guess what that is! |
