For the collection of poetry found here.
Featuring works by Nodeshi Saigo and framed by Raleris.

I like the sequence quite a bit, although I do have one clarifying question that causes me some concern from a canon-standpoint. Presumably, this sequence implies that Saigo has been to Shadowmoor, yes? And because Saigo used haiku to form his mana bonds, does that imply that he has access to all ten of these deities and their corresponding auras? Because while I do really like these as poems, but the logical extension of them seems to suggest that Saigo somehow managed to find and master all of their blessings, which seems illogical to me.

Full disclosure, but no, he actually hasn't been to shadowmoor. It's more an elves of deep shadow situation where entities that share their conceptual identity happen to be on another plane. View them more as alternate plane reprints. Meanwhile, as to the spells themselves, it's not the same as him casting spells. They are poems written to capture the philosophy, but not the spells for himself (though the way it is written, someone else could use it to reverse engineer the spells.)

I mean he does have a FEW in his wheelhouse, but not all ten, and not the creatures themselves at all.

If the Lorwyn god-things were Legendary, I might have a problem with that thinking, but they're not, so I don't.

"Yea."

My sentiments very much mirror Raven's. And the poems themselves are good and evocative, so it's Yea from me.

Those are very legitimate sentiments to hold and I definitely share them myself.

Of course, not going to lie, I'm immensely amused that one of them is mechanically defined as specifically NOT being legendary.
