I have literally no idea what any of this is about, but here it goes:

In a time long past,
The Coca-Cola Kingdom,
Dominated us.

Cruel and merciless,
With tactics fierce and cutthroat,
They crushed all others.

Their riches bought all,
Lobbyists and congressmen,
All were owned by Coke.

They got a tax passed,
To be paid by all but them,
For making soda,

But then came the light,
To the darkness of commerce,
And Pepsi was born.

They could not afford,
The steep and unjust taxes,
On bottled liquid.

And so, in brilliance,
They refused to make a drink,
But crafted bottles.

Meanwhile, Coke changed things,
Because there were no others,
Coke was very cheap.

The liquid, that is.
You still pay a hefty price
Just for the bottle.

But Pepsi products?
They are but glass and label,
America swooned.

Solution? Simple.
Buy Pepsi bottles, but fill
Them all up with Coke.

Fountain pop is cheap,
Coke bottles worse than Pepsi,
Tax circumvented.

So now we all see,
How Pepsi made a fortune
With empty bottles.
