http://www.soundcloud.com/dr-broctopus-official My greasy dubstep project, started last year. I haven't put a song up in awhile, cause I've had major writers block, but hopefully that changes soon. Give me opinions please! |

They remind me strongly of video game background music. Medula Oblongata - Boss theme song. I can see some giant creature bashing in skulls to this ominous theme song. Needledick! Needledick! - Great energy, reminds me of a sequence where time is of the essence. That's Some High-Quality H20 - Similar feel to Needledick! Needledick! to me. Tacklin' Fuel - This reminded me of the track they used for the Dubstep Gun in Saints Row IV. I forget the name of the track, but it has some similar beats and that one damn sound that I loved from it. I'll have to listen to Greasy Jasper Beats later, but nice work. ~SE++ |

Thank you! The project has been down for awhile due to writers block but I'm hoping that changes soon. I'm gonna reinstall FL Studio soon and see what magic I can crank out. Also if you dug The Jasper Jackhammer (EP two), you would really like Greasy Jasper Beats. I feel like on the second EP I "played it safe" a lot more, so the first EP is a lot more adventurous and raw. There's even a hip-gyrating dance tune (Get In The Flask). My cousin (who generally hates dance and dubstep) said he could see it being played in a dance club. |

I meant to go back and listen to Greasy Jasper Beats song by song and make comments again, but I ended up listening to the whole thing last night while doing other stuff. Made some great background noise, but I'm not 100% sure on any one song since I wasn't paying attention to names. Okay, except for You Make the Lord Very Nervous. That one was pretty strange and I had to break the post I was typing to check in on that one. ~SE++ |

To be honest, I didn't like it at all.... at first. The first half of the song I found to be overly eccentric... and then halfway through, like a Dark Lager.... it grew on me, and by the end I almost wanted to replay that one track just to see if I'd the into better on a second listen. I refrained, but still... ~SE++ |
