In Australia say g’day
To kangaroos in Moreton Bay
Drop bears nesting in the tree
Better wet yourself with pee

Crocodile’s nice to cook
Snakes are everywhere you look
Unless death is what you wish
Do not touch the jellyfish

In Australia you can work
Factory or office clerk
When work’s over you can drink
With the blokes on Centrelink

Blokes who couldn’t find no jobs
(Not because they’re lazy slobs)
Others get a grand a week
But not allowed to take a leak

In Australia you can vote
For the guy who stopped the boat
When he starts to lose his clout
Party spill will kick him out

Not that they consult with you
‘Fore they put in someone new
You just hear it on the vine
And pretend you feel fine

Aboriginals were here
Long before man made the spear
Boomerangs were theirs to use
Now they’re always in the news

Culture, Dreamtime, kings and queens
Languages and growing greens
Rabbits left it naught but sand
Didn’t know it was their land

In Australia lots of folks
Throw a spanner in the spokes
Form a clique of their own race
White folks give them lots of space

In Australia you will melt
Need to wear a thinner pelt
Air condition in the car
We’re okay the way we are

That's a nice poem. I take it you're an Aussie? As a non-Aussie I wasn't able to pick up on a few things. "Others get a grand a week/ But not allowed to take a leak" flew right over my head. Some well-paying jobs with poor working conditions over there?

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

Yeah. Our economy is weird. Very high minimum wage, so there's high unemployment, so people with jobs are afraid to lose their jobs, but there's also a lot of KPIs and regulations. People end up with more responsibilities than one person should have to handle
