maybe some of you still remember the glory days back in 2017 with the showdowns and all. I stopped playing Duels for a reason I don't remember.
I fired up old Magic Duels on Steam just now and was surprised there wasn't an update needed. No new cards? What happened? Is Duels dead?

I think I'll try the old plainswalker decks for some little fun. What happened to you?

Hey it's my favourite retardo! I've been writing you happy birthday messages every year since you left. Missed ya.

Yeah, they stopped supporting the game and replaced it with magic Arena which lots of people here play. Duels is pretty dead (although some new guy just got into it here which has caused some discussion revivial in the decklist section). I only play Magic 2014 these days. Love the random deck vs random deck fights. Sad that no one plays though.

I still play on xbone. Those @ssholes quit in the middle of Amonkhet block so we have a card or two that reference cards we were supposed to get in Hour (like the grixis spell that does something extra if you have Bolas out) before they decided to throw in the towel on us. I still find matches just fine online; Duels forum is pretty dead but folks still playing online. Card pool is big enough to keep building new goofy decks or riffing on old ones.

The new guy who started posting plays on steam. Seems there’s still matches to find there too.

Hey thanks Barney, missed you too! Good to see that some guys are still around.
Ah well, then I'll play a few games for fun and check the forums from time to time. Just as it used to be.
