It's is likely, inevitable, may already have happened for some. At times there have been the rage quit threads, you know the ones. At other times there have been genuine leavers. At other times there are posters that just disappear without warning or explanation.

As this happens it may be nice to remember .... the ones who will not be forgotten.

In the iOS community there is one I would like to start with ....

Lionberry

Whatever happened to Lionberry? A great addition he was to the community. A very good player of the game, a clever deckbuilder. A good participant in the organised tournaments. A good friend too.

He left at the end of last year. He mentioned he may be gone while through January, family, work ..... was never sure.

He was the first (to my knowledge) to raise the possibility of recording iOS matches. And did so.

There are others of course and some that may already have quit given the dismay and despair about the announcement that Magic Duels days were over, no HOD, just over.

Who else (q to the floor) from those that still remain here posting, have former posters that are Remembered .... and missed.

Beeswax and Zerris were the 2 I missed most.

Lionberry?! Oh man, come on... there's some that we should be remembering before that.

Are we mentionning just the good ones, btw, or the bad ones too?

Hakeem will love that I'll go ahead and mention mjack who hasn't been since around these parts for some time. Did he get banned? Who knows. I don't even remember if his alt account has posted here recently.

Garren hasn't been seen for a few months now, maybe he is only here as a Gobo now but who knows.

I know I miss Elijin the most.

Shadowcran has been gone for a couple years now. We haven't had a good discussion about 61 card decks since. Coincidentally Hakeem hasn't had a ban for a couple of years now also.

Speaking of which, Hakeem, is only ghosting around here from time to time. I miss when he was all over this place

Zerris hangs out on Discord. I chat with him all the time and talk about deck building as he enjoys that the most.

I'm friends with Beeswax on Steam. Counter-Strike is the only thing I ever see him playing for the last year or so, but that thing he plays a lot.

ugh i forgot about Steve. i think he may have nuked his account cuz there's no trace of him, but there was a new user in 2015 "No More Lutionary" lol

Steveloutionary was great. I know he had a lot of run ins with others. He made a lot of valid points and was a good builder. He could bring out the salt though in others. The main thing that killed it for him was no PS4 from Magic 2015 onwards.

I remember a couple of guys from the mothership who used to run and play in the tournaments for the DOTP's of the past, Monk and HarmlessBrew. Haven't seen them pretty much since Duels Origins came out, probably because they played the old ones on Xbox 360.
