I was working on a Boros deck recently and I noticed that it didn't have any red bombs, which got me thinking about finisher cards in general. So, what are the best finishers in each color from each set in Duels? What cards say "I'm going to win now" more than any other? How do they compare to each other? Which bombs from older sets have been surpased by newer cards? |

I'm currently in a committed relationship with Cut // Ribbons the inevitability is just so sweet, I know I dread seeing it hit the yard and I feel like it adds an extra facet to the game, especially when you have opponents more prone to tilt |

Well, if we're looking at AKH bombs, especially red ones, I feel Glorybringer is an obvious choice. |

Glorybringer tends to be a good Red finisher, especially if you're planning to exert it to kill a blocker for you ground forces. |

I've only ever gotten it once. And it was sheer luck top-decking Chandra's Ignition when I would have died the next turn for sure. I'd like to say it was skill and deck-building acumen that lead me to it, but it was dumb luck. |

hanwier garrison + enigma drake + fling. I put 1x insult//injury in my deck but i really don't like it. you have it when you don't need it and don't have it when you do. |

that sounds pretty cool. can build a grixis deck with every available draw spells and cheap removals. Add 2 copies fling and 2 copies drake as the only win con. every game traverse the whole deck to find the four cards and one-shot win. |

I use temur colours because it gives me access to 8 fogs which are pretty vital in my build. it also gives me grapple and gather the pack as ways to self mill/set up the combo. pulse helps me keep a healthy life total/set up the combo. only creatures i run are: 2x drake 2x themo 1x baral 1x gearhulk I used to have greenwarden also but he was a bit bulky. I'm sure a grixis version with more control could also be a very viable option. Pieces of the puzzle is by far the best card in piecing the combo together i would say. and you can even cast it off of a yahenni's expertise if you go the grixis route. |
