Oh and besides the basic lands always looking better than the full art, you also get to be OCD with them. There's 4 art covers in each color so if you're like me; as you play them, you can make patterns with the art. I personally like 2 art covers, then 2 different from the first, then switch back to the original if I can (greedy to shoot for 3 in the pattern but fun in ramp decks). Alternate 1 and 1 or use all 4 land arts in a row and then repeat the pattern over again (qty's of each art vary based on the number of basic lands so some patterns get tough to do because of art availability). Draw out all of one art cover through ramp. Then we get into the ranking order of which art cover is the best per color and how that factors into sequencing. I mean who has time to play this silly game when you're working on 2 and 3 color decks trying to make patterns out of the basic land art? elk p.s. and no I'm not joking. It's actually become part of my game where I have to sequence my basic land art too (I'm probably the only person you will ever meet who takes his time when fetching a land color ). |

This is Shadowcran but different.... I know! You cracked the Da Vinci code, and getting the right art sequence will lead to the ark of the covenant in a race with zombie Nazis from the dark side of the moon! |

Why didn't we get the full art lands from Almondcat? |

Sl33pHumper wrote: swapping them out? Well, it'd be another full art cosmetic purchase. Sure as hell they won't forcefully swap the old 5k gold Zendikar full art for the new ones. They'd either lose a gold sinking oppotunity, or some players might like the old ones better. |

I'd sink upwards of 5K Gold for the sweet, sweet new Almond Khat lands. |

Alternately: give me a full art West Vale Avenue/George Mendel and we're back in business! |
