This one was funny (depending on your mood). Someone just played Animist's Awakening on turn 2-3 with 2-3 lands out (one of them Hanweir Battlements if it makes a difference) and got *all* his lands out! He had a 90 card deck too....
2 turns later he casted a Walking Ballista with 120 something counters on it. That too looked weird so, overall broken somehow?
He is ranked 40, obviously...

yeah just quit when you see 1clwbc or whatever that guys name is playing 100 card deck. i guess there are still many players that isn't aware of him. i'll be honest. If i get this trick to cast huge ballista T2, I'd use it. It's pretty fun challenge to find out all the X spells, put together a deck and annoy the opponent. I'd never get tired using this trick.

Not seen this guy, sometimes you wonder. I had a steam match (L7 or so) v my hated meta mill. So after an almost perfect curve the Sphinx tutelage and fevered visions it was still interesting to see it. Harnessed lightning - check. Talent of the telepath to use my own library? Unusual. Part the waterveil? Why not. Clever stuff indeed.

More unusual my next match I go against same guy. What a surprise Sphinx on curve. Was ready with a collective effort. Next turn or so second Sphinx. He was on about 6 life and my library was not perilous at the time. But yes he won that too.

Anyway after that I managed my own brand of wtf lol.

One thing it also seemed to illustrate is you can never really predict the meta. It's a good sign that Magic Duels is in a pretty health state and probably just bound to get better.

Kind of funny to imagine it how it would be like you're down on 1 life and then your super awesome magic goes off and wins the game, like you're practically lying on floor bleeding out but then BAMN! Psycho brain kill mill!
