Hi, I will be voicing my opinion on the multi-color uncommons we are due to get in the next expansion. As with all set that came before, each one had an uncommon and sometimes a rare for each dual color combination. I might go back to do that for previous sets but I will do this set now. (1)Honored Crop-Captain - We've already been introduced to Consul's Lieutenant in Origins and Hamlet Captain in Eldritch Moon. One draw back however was that you'd need to first successfully deal damage with Lieutentant in order for the effect to be useful, which can prove difficult when facing 2/3 bodies. Another is it's initial 1 toughness which is now more likely to die to Walking Ballista than anything. Lastly, both cards were only best when paired with many other 1-drops or tokens. This time around, we've got a 3/2 which can crew Heart & Flagship and support a "go-wide" strategy in . Not my kind of creature but we've already got a home for her! The only thing really missing is a universal first strike or indestructibility effect. (2)Khenra Charioteer - This makes pump spells more flexible, has an immediate effect on the board with a solid body to boot. I'm not entirely upset with this card! (3)Enigma Drake - Speaking of Stormchaser, we've got another compliment to a Prowess deck. This time however, we've got a chance of getting Fling which combos very well with this card BUT folds to Unsubstantiate. Almost reminds me of Zendikar Incarnate...what ever happen to that guy? (4)Wayward Servant - We've seen Kalastria Healer propel allies into a rather commonly played deck on ladder but not one person has brought it here. I don't believe that being an uncommon with a restricting color requirement will entice people to play it in our tournaments either but I reckon we will being seeing this guy on ladder in the coming weeks! (5)Weaver of Currents - It seems to want a home in Ramp but may be too similar to Lifespring Druid which hasn't seen any real play. Are potential turn four 6-drops going to enable this in our meta? I for one doubt this. Shadowstorm Vizier - Cool name but cannot hold a candle to Stormchaser Mage! Abn-Crop Champion - Vigilance every other turn starting on turn 5 isn't something WG Human decks are excited for. Aven Wind Guide - Tokens don't need flying. Merciless Javelineer - Vanilla 4/2's for 4 are bad. Decimator Beetle - 5 mana for no immediate effect on the board doesn't making it compete with the many mythic and rare 5 drops that are popular right now. At least it survives Grasp of Darkness... |

Why am I not scrying with my 3 power boros 2 drop? Tbh I prefer the WU one to the mana elf, 2 rounds of flying and vigilance could be potentially useful in some decks, heck it might even be a card you could put in azorius zombies for fun. |

Ahn-Crop Champion < Always Watching. This dood actually seems ok to me. Doesn't want to go into weenie token decks; wants to go in Bant Tokens with the bigger ones. Flying vigilance Hydras (trample), hippos, beasts, Nissa's Elemental, etc. Limited bomb, but not good for us. Not the kinda thing we want to spend 5 mana on. Looks a lot of fun in izzet spells/prowess. Wish it had haste, but still could be fun. Nice art. A quasi Weapons Trainer that we don't have to run bad cards to use. Nice. Yas Nah. Find her strangely hot tho. Stormchaser Mage's sister; disappointment to her fam. Yas Simic ramp gonna be real. T4 Plated Crusher gonna be hard to deal with. |

At 3CMC, you're better off ramping with Nissa's Pilgrimage (less fragile, nets addition lands to hand). I'm not surprised it doesn't see play. 2 mana from Weaver on the other hand, is a different ballgame. Kiora for All The Mana! I think it will see some play. |

Lifespring Druid ramps into a 5 drop while Weaver ramps into a 6 drop. At first glance, I don't see that large a gap in power level between the 5 and 6 drops which is why I rated it low. I still think Druid of the Cowl is better as your turn 2 is VERY important in this format and playing a turn 4 play on 3 and enabling a 7-8 drop turn 4 sounds great. |

I'd be surprised if we get Wayward Servant to be honest, pleased and excited of course. We know zombies will be a compelling strategy. The colours to run though become interesting with Esper looking an interesting shard. |

Pretty sure they've given us every uncommon cycle of dual coloured cards, so I reckon you're safe. |

True for those 3 but that was back in the day with older thinking and since then we got them all, plus the zombie isn't exactly the most powerful of the Amonkhet dudes. |

I think they just waited a while to give us high power cards, in fear of making the Meta completely one sided. Keep wishing they'd go back and fix those sets though. |

I think we're forgetting that's a set where we got a boat load of bargain-bin Eldrazi instead of the full cycle. |
