I always hear people talking about "superfriends" and pw.dec in a lot of the topics here. I know it has to do with the planeswalkers and all that, but is there a deck list or 2 somewhere I can look at? I wasn't sure how many colors it is supposed to be, so not 100% sure where to look.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

It's basically 4 colors (not U), throw in every pw and mythic or rare. Sometimes it's 3 colors, both are common. There's really not much more to it. The deck has mana issues, but the power level is high, and since there is no PW removal, it works very well sometimes. It was popular up until KLD, so check the decks before that time.

If you go into the Magic Duels Constructed subforum, you can run a search there using "superfriends" as the keyword, and then check the option to search topic titles. That will quickly reveal several variants to browse.

Its hard to make a planeswalker deck right now due to vehicles. But generally speaking they include lots of sweepers to control the board while you get your PW. A couple of big creature that doesnt die to your own sweepers. As long you keep the PW in play you win due to mounting advantage you get from them. Kinda hard to keep a PW alive right now though. Vehicles have flying or trample and they dont die from sweepers.

Yeah, I ran the search myself just to be sure before posting, and had at least three dif superfriends threads on the first page of results. Such a good idea to create that subforum instead of just having the color combo subforum like before.

You wouldn't use Blue in a modern Planeswalker deck? It seems like Baral and his Expertise would be useful additions, and if you could manage a Torrential Gearhulk, you'd have some nice surprise defense.

Tezzeret can give mana advantage, some elimination (if you have the artifacts), maybe a 5/5 artifact creature production line for useful defense.

Is a blueless planeswalker still a real consideration?

I think the biggest pull to blue is probably intimations, still think the other 4 colours are more important though

Nah, I don't think so. I'd definitely want WG, and then probably red for Chandra. Black is up for discussion, blue probably isn't. The blue PW'ers don't add much. I guess Tamiyo makes it a close thing, but I dunno just one walker doesn't seem worth a whole extra color. - PW'ers.dec is not a .dec I would play, lol.

Oh yeah, I forgot about intimations. But how could you possibly not run green or white? Intimations forces a 5-color deck.

Is Dark Intimations really all that useful, though? Without the secondary ability at present, it's just making an opponent sacrifice a creature, maybe a planeswalker, if you're lucky.

And returning a creature or PW'er, plus drawing a card. The bolas bit is cute, but that's already a lot of power even without. It's pretty nearly always a 4-1. That's a lot of power on one card.
