I am trying to run iOS tournaments, we have KOH (King of the Hill) which was across all platforms, it was an initiative started by PureSynesthesia but he did not have the time to keep it going so I have offered to take over. Link is here to read all about it. You can sign up and basically when your turn is due you just arrange the match with current king via PM usually in NGA. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=16119&start=340#p532346 I have also organized a block release tournament for iOS - it has the potential issue for participants though that it is best with either a full or near full collection of cards. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=17641 Also for reference I have organized earlier tournaments previously in iOS from a single elimination style tournament to a round robin all play all format. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=13217 viewtopic.php?f=38&t=13048 viewtopic.php?f=38&t=13791 viewtopic.php?f=38&t=12907 viewtopic.php?f=38&t=14093 So in short I have always TRIED to organize iOS tournaments in iOS. But partly due to lack of active participation and also losing good iOS players to other platforms (mainly XBOXONE) it can be difficult for them to be successful. As you might imagine, putting a lot of time and effort into setting up and managing and running can be disheartening if there is no reliable take up of participants. I will always keep trying (and hoping) though . SD |

KOH is easiest to sign up to and I have taken the liberty of adding you. I have just matched recently with current king Aunnj but he won 2 - 1 so still resident king. We have other participant currently Altashheth who should be next and then you will be up versus whoever is current king. It's any deck and best of 3 and no sideboards (changes to decks between games). Look over the other format, block release, and if interested let me know. This is a limited pool build and has side boarding (changing decks between games) but its relevance will be dependent on how much of the collection you have unlocked (block is ORI, KLD and AER sets only). Ok, i have all cards! but for now im interested on KOH, the other format requieres more time to open and contruct the deck from scratch... and in my opinio only if there are at least 10 players to make things interested along some prizes (i know is asking 2 mux) ill be waiting for my turn to fight! |

Necr0potence wrote: but for now im interested on KOH... ill be waiting for my turn to fight! Understand, the block takes more time to setup and also makes you think a bit more about deck building. It was designed too to put an emphasis on the AER block. I agree though it would be far better with more participants but as mentioned IOS just does not attract the same numbers as the other platforms. If it did no doubt prize giving etc could be considered assuming everyone would pitch in. I think Auunj is waiting for the KOH match, he is a very good player so come prepared and good luck! Post your results in the KOH thread so I can update. SD |

If you win the match (and thus become King) you can use a different deck if you want for each new opponent but again no sideboards for the games played itself. SD |
