Help.

In the tips that show after each game is concluded, I have read that an attacker with multiple blockers gets to choose which blocking card it will attack first. Conversely and contradictory to the first rule, I have also read the opposite, that the blocking player gets to choose which of the many blocking creatures will block the attacker first.

My problem: regardless of whether I am the attacker or the blocker, it is always my opponent who gets to choose, giving me a significant disadvantage. How do I remedy this? Is there a key function for this that I am not aware of? I will appreciate any light you may shed on this. Thank you so much.

When you attack the opponent they get to decide which of their creatures blocks yours but you then get to decide the order of damage to multiple blockers that are blocking 1 of your attacking creatures.
It may be that you have an option turned on that simplifies things and automatically orders the blockers for you, which is therefore preventing you from choosing the order of blockers on your attacking creature.

Thanks for answering. That option that simplifies things. In my case, it is turned off, because I can damage my own creatures. But I still don't get to choose the order of blockers.

Look for the option that is something along the lines of "automatically assign combat damage" and make sure it is turned off.
