It's Acid Moss lite in a way. I think Acid Moss was replaced due to its ramp in addition to land destruction. Creeping Mold destroys land yes but without ramp and as artifact hate it was probably a legitimate add to Kaladesh. AER also gives us new mana options so there is a balance there now. Multi color decks can be built to compensate for anyone running Creeping Mold if that was a worry.

I have seen lot of ramp decklist here without this card, apart for the Arlinn Troll LD deck by Rabble. My question is, could this card be a staple or at least used in some ramp deck?
I mean it's not acid moss but it puts you ahead on mana and now that we have 6 green mana dorks it can be played on turn 3 quite often (unless bolt the birds). It is good against slow or greedy decks, but also against aggro because you can always kill a vehicle instead of a land. Thoughts? (in ramp deck)

If you run 4 mana LD you're going to die to Midrange and other ramp decks

Creeping mold is overcosted trash.

It's not stone rain or acid moss, but maybe decent in duels. What i meant is if we could build a ramp deck with 6 mana dorks on turn 2 and 7 spells on turn 3 that put yourself ahead on mana (mold and vegetation) to be a bit more consistent.

That card is hot garbage, and will cost you 4 games for every other one that it "helps" you win.

Giocher actually played VS a non tuned version of creeping mold ramp today, his comment was based on experience. We had some fun games, and I would argue the card is playable, if you think a bit outside the box .

Temur LD.dec is a go... it could sport 8 paths to hit LD on t4. Meh, could be fun, I'll give it a build, lol, because why not? Or even 4 color, with possessed scab for additional ways to recur. Wahooooooooo!

Comes down t3 if you have any mana dorks in play. It's like an aetherspeher harvester, only without flying.

except you don't need to play it to know it's hot garbage. 4 mana sorcery speed removal/LD is so far below the power curve it's at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. For LD to be actually effective against good decks it needs to be coming out turn 1/2. And if you lost too it it probably just means your deck is hot garbage too

I was running this for a while, I will have to revisit this at some point. Just having fun.dec and the troll factor is high.

should i feel sad or what? everyone but Mr. ggwwbb elf calls it garbage, but creeping mold has been one of the best cards in my deck of the season...
