In the interest of breaking down some barriers, and since we're quick to judge each other, I elect we produce a roasting thread on our OWN playstyles.

3B:
I don't care about playing anything, I just have OCD about having less cards in my hand than the opponent. I call draw-go "dozy control" because I can take quick naps until my opponent plays something I can counter-nuke. That's why I hate aggro, it's over stimulating, like feeding your kid too much Haribo. Every time I counter a spell my opponent plays, it soothes the pain of years of alcohol abuse, because I can finally control something. Gaea's Revenge reminds me of the looming threat of another 20 shots of Jaeger on a night out when it's way past my bed time. That explains the naps...

I'm too impulse.
I'd rather be activate then passive in a game. That's why I like early pressure decks. I'll also take gambles, so red is right up my avenue, but sometimes your luck runs out...

I'm also a pretty johnny deck builder. I also develop biases against some cards and absolutely love some dubious ones. I'm always looking for undiscovered secret tech.

I think Elk is handsome. I have a fetish or need to play the cards in my hand over anything else. Often I should be using Dusk watch Recruiter's ability instead but I can't help it. This makes me over commit often to the board.

I also have no patience for long games which draws me to aggro decks. Win or lose, as long as it's quick.

I also seem to be very stubborn around my mulligan rules and have trouble saying no to two landers. Beast is right, BigPlays shouldn't keep two landers

I want to be White but I think Blue, I feel Black and I act Red.

I tend to play like I don't know what I'm doing: I cast spells on Main 1. I block in an even match when my foe has mana open, even when they've cast a pump before. I generally don't track my opponents board state and I use removal as soon as I can afford it. I tend to dump my hand out instead of holding back and get wiped by sweepers. I often make poor choices when it comes to trading creatures in combat. I use creature auras. I keep bad hands and don't mulligan enough.

I build theme decks that don't work because I can't figure out which cards are bad within the theme. I build synergy decks that don't work because I include too many cards that don't synergize. I build good-stuff decks that don't work because I can't tell the good-stuff from the somewhat-good-stuff. I over-prioritize spot removal and don't put in sweepers. I only put one copy of any Legend or Planeswalker in my decks so I don't have any dead draws (That last one isn't quite as big a flaw in Duels since we only get one of each Planeswalker and at most 2 of any Legend).

p.s. I don't do all of these things anymore, but there were times over the last 20 years when these things were my absolute modus operandi.

I am addicted to raw power. This leads me to an unhealthy obsession with cards that can take over games or win on their own. It's why I shy away from aggro and play early control/mid-range decks mostly. This also exemplifies why I have an unhealthy hatred of countermagic.. since a simple Scatter to the Winds can deny me so much raw power, for such little investment.

@Barney: Did you ever post your feedback about Bigplays?

4 mana do nothing enchantments are objectively awful, especially in this current meta where aggro is king and copters are flying around everywhere.

Cards like Flameshadow Conjuring, Midnight oil, and even to some extent valor in akros and thopter spy network are way to slow, and while they have the potential to go crazy that's pretty useless if it's once every 10 games and you die with them stuck in hand the other 9.

...Ugh that was painful to write out haha

I'm not partial to any deck type though I tend to shy away from midrange when I can. I only hate whatever my current opponent is playing and my competitive spirit often leads me to being over aggressive leading expectedly to bad hands flood or famine. When given the option between the safe route and a gambit I will nearly always rather gamble than to play passive roles. I do like control but moreso the scorched earth control and less the no no no no. When I play, I play to cow my opponent into submission and to make them think I have cards I don't run. Also I know when I am beat and won't drag along lost matches, I'd rather move to the next.

Beast, I didn't post feedback yet cuz I don't have enough games played yet. I'm currently 2-0 with the deck (not counting wins against AI). I stared at a two-lander which had:

Evolving Wilds
Forest
Elvish Visionary
Elvish Visionary
Sylvain Advocate
Big Chandra
Tireless Tracker

And the entire time in my head I have you saying, "Don't keep a two-lander, my only two losses were from keeping two-landers" and of course I stubbornly kept it. It was a really hard game but I managed to win it. Damn those two-landers.

I really like playing the deck, it's way more fun than an energy deck. Small Chandra is really awkward cuz I can never really use her 2 free mana the turn she comes out (unlike most decks that run her), but it's ok. I like that she pings a planeswalker for 2 damage when she comes out or possible hits a creature for 4. Both of those are great.

I'll let you know when I have more games with it, but it's really fun

I have no specific playstyle; I can play anything. It's all about adaptation.

Vert:

People are onto your ****. Countering spells means alot less when people are pummeling the **** out of you by turn 3. You probably thought your hand was so great with 4 counters and Gideon, but what did it get you besides a Copter facial? Enjoy having a completely dead hand while 2 drops and man-lands burn through your win cons. And I can't believe you still play Ob Nixilis. Cool curve, jackass. Enjoy your 5 cmc counterspells as you die turn 5. Can't wait to watch your face when your removal gets countered and your do-nothing deck goes back to doing nothing.

Magic's a simple game, 2 people take turns playing cards and in the end Divinevert wins 2-0...

I get easily frustrated when unlucky or when I make a mistake, or when my opponent is exceptionally lucky. I am getting better at this.
I spend too much time on deck ideas that don't pan out, then I revisit them again and again. I should move on to something better instead of being clingy to concepts I find clever.
I care too much about the outcome, taking no comfort in whether I played well or not. There are games I can't win, I should stop whining about it and move on.
I have weird brain farts - sometimes I make plays I cannot explain when I know I know better, and I don't know why. I can't explain it. I HATE that.
I get married to cards. When I am convinced a card is amazing, you can't talk me into cutting it from a deck, even with good reasons. Too many sacred cows.
I still hold myself to standards like I play Magic super-seriously 3-6 hours a day. I expect the results without the practice. That is stupid.
