I tried chiang's deck. I went 1-7 in games, I muliganed to oblivion 3 games and had mana problems every game with multiple cards stuck in hand because of color deck. Playing a 4 color deck with no sylvan ranger while playing multiple grasp of darkness and an uncastable Jace is the definition of greed.
But I'm not skillfull so who am I to speak?

Here here! I think I made my deck too conservative, but who runs 4 colors with no mana fixing and so many double casting cost spells??

Now that I've compared Steelys deck to mine, he has a lot more power, but he at least has 4 mana fixing ramp cards. No Rangers or Wilds though. Hmmm, I wonder if he ever has mana problems early haha? Here's hoping!

I actually think the secret for the mirror is not going bigger, its having the 6 manlands and having a good curve and good mana, since the mirror is very tempo oriented and you snowball walker advantage really fast, and the big things arent often good enough to get you back in the game from walkers doing their thing for many turns. I've won 2 mirrors against decks who had considerably more late game power than me(1 of them had 2 more 6 drops and explosive vegatations even).

That's kind of the idea, we can schedule everything so it's all in a row - and maximize viewership that way, by waiting for the prior matches to end before starting the next set. Actually, maybe Peepy and I should go first, since technically we are the lowest seeded match of all. Makes for a nice warm up to the 'main' events.
