Gem's also joining the master race. If the Xbox One crew is so terrified of sideboards that it kills the tournament (which I doubt is the actual problem, it's probably just people waiting until the last minute to submit lists), then they don't deserve me.

Maybe They're just casual players like me. You still have time to make a FNM near you if you want. Those guys love sideboards. They don't love soap tho.

Well, if you're truly casual then you wouldn't care about getting into top 8, even though it looks like you might auto end up there without a swiss portion. Just fill your sideboard with lands, or mythics, or whatever. Or remove 15 of the cards you know you'll play, and let the duels deckbuilder autofill 15 slots for you.

Your big dumb pile of aggro cards doesn't even need a sideboard, except to maybe sideboard out joke cards that Gem somehow tricked you into maindecking.

Don't get me wrong, btw, I want this tournament to succeed, I'd love to see dozens of players in this thing so I could have a nice robust and proven list to netdeck. Jolys superfriends deck was amazing, sideboard or no

Yeah...somehow...because I didn't plan that ahead of time. Those inclusions were just poor decisions in the deck and this guy actually takes my deck and runs with it. I took advantage of the situation to try and convince him to build his own deck. Oh well...

Yeah. I'm switching to steam permanently. Competition and player quality is much higher. There aren't any trolls who make YouTube videos about you, or stalkers who make multiple accounts to harass you, or people who concede on your turn when your in the middle of a decision to trap you in the game, or Suntail Hawks and Thriving Turtles. Haven't actually turnt on my Xbox in 2 weeks which is a record.

I'll try and join the Steam tournament when though I have 70% of Kaladesh and 100% of Origins now.

Okay, but at least play this last one Xbox One tourney as a favor to me. We may need the bodies.

I'll be in it, but I'm on tilt about sideboards... If it's top 8 to begin with I would use a different deck than what I plan on submitting to fight my way there.

I have the worst case of analysis paralysis ever. I had a plan but have decided that the deck I was trying to bring just isn't ready or I'm not able to pilot it correctly, maybe both.

I am all for new experiences. The extra wrinkle of side boarding doesn't seem complicated but I am none the less sitting here like "wtf am I doing, and why am I doing it". Coming up with a 75 card deck has me like
