Enginowich wins 2-1.

We had some issues with disconnects. In the first game we played, Enginowich disconnected with a rather big advantage on board. I played it out against AI, and lost. I'm convinced the same would've held true if Enginowich was piloting the deck as well.

The game after that I won. We decided that the first game would count as being replayed.
In the next two games, I lost. One of them wasn't even close due to me being stuck on 2 mana for most of it.
The last game I took a mulligan down to 6 to try and avoid a two land hand, still ended up with a twolander, one I think was worse than the first one. Still I drew lands for the next two turns as needed, and then a couple of turns later drew my fifth land. It was a close and fun game, but a Skysovereign managed to close it for Enginowich.

Couldn't find a starting hand I liked. Yondar's deck is strong. I'm looking for revenge in the top 8.

When things can go wrong, they will go wrong.

Game 1 he had t2 creature removal, t3 vehicle removal + lifegain, followed by 2 sweepers, a couple ramps, pull from tomorrow to draw him the win.
He has 3/100 T2 removals (Trial of Ambition), and he got 1.
2/100 t3 vehicle removals that could avoid blossoming defense (Appetite for the Unnatural), he got one. and I had blossoming defense.
Of course he got two sweepers.

Game 2 I was mana screwed at 2 lands, playing one threat a turn, swept by barals, and lost with all my good lovely 2 drop creatures in hand. My deck has a strong double spell plan by playing 23 two drops, but not drawing 4th land hurt me every time. Should have played 28 lands, with 23 two drops.

Was pretty sure that I will have hard times to play against his deck, since a lot of 2 cmc drops with good value, but looks like shuffler's favor was at my side this time.
Won 2-0
Game 1. Trial of Ambitions, Appetite, Fog and Bounty of Luxa in starting hand was totally keepable. Early removals for his threats gave me enough time to deploy my lands and drop Convergence.
Game 2. Woodland struggled on 2 lands far too long, and I was able to remove first 2 of his early drops, he kept my mana dork alive, probably was mistake, since I was able to drop Convergence again pretty fast, which stalls boardstate and gave me time to deploy Ulamog as unanswered threat.

What did I tell you? Fear the fat-stack... It has answers for everything... And will draw them when it needs them too.
