It still was a good card, even if the deck it was in was mediocre. Heck, one of the weakest decks in M13 had Umezawa's Jitte, and no one is going to call Jitte bad.

Yeah, but the Jitte made that deck 10 times better. Accumulated Knowledge was just kind of another card in a mediocre deck.

Hell yeah. That bushido deck could pull some good stuff once in a while, but as focused as it was with defense, it couldn't muster anything against many other decks without the right cards.
It would've been pure garbage without the Jitte.

The deck wasn't the best but that doesn't change the fact the card was good.

Still WAY early in spoiler season, but it's a little disheartening that some of the strongest revealed cards are in . are already running duels. Best decks use at least one.

Personally I'll just be happy to see some powerful black cards. No colour needs love right now more then Black.

Rats meld looks fun to me, but is not going to make for truly competitive builds, and the individual pieces will not make it into decks on their own unlike and meld pieces (and of course the one is the best thanks to the 4 CMC Angel). The zombie mass thing looks fun but mostly just fun. The black escalator spell is pretty meh. Worse than the one anyways.

niblis of frost and docent of perfection + a few more good blue cards will finally put blue on the forefront I doubt we will get both though. Blue has been the go sphinx's tuetelage or bust colour ever since origins minus the izzet artifacts back then and the izzet prowess now. I feel like it needs good creatures like these or at least some tribal stuff. Illusions with support might be too good but at least give merfolk, faeries, some drakes, some krakkens, sphinxes or a leviathan or two. Everytime I look at blue I don't see anything I would really consider running at the top end aka 5cmc plus. Most of the time I just take guardian of tazeem and go onto the other other colours for bombs. Especially since Disciple of the ring has only half it's abilities work.

Generally speaking, is there anything we should fear will be rotating out of the setlist like Moss did? Is it too soon to drop Sylvan Advocate?

They don't plan to rotate out any sets in this game, unlike standard. They only reason Moss was removed because people complained about it on Reddit. Sylvan Advocate isn't getting that traction.

Think they intend to fix Disciple. They made an official statement shortly after SOI release that they'd be cutting Angel of Tithes in the next update because it was too difficult to code correctly. Figure they'd have included Disciple in that statement if they didn't intend to fix.

Disciple was fine before no? It just went bugged for whatever reason with the update and it's not like it has a particularly odd ability like Tithes.
