Anyway, cool discussion. Now we just wait for TIMH to come and complain about some random jank getting a better grade than Conviction and we can move on to the next article :P

Excuse me, sir, but I thought your black reviews were pretty spot on. You're still wrong about Conviction tho. Card offers niche tech you refuse to acknowledge :-p

I don't think Renegade's Getaway is worse than Rush of Vitality, although I am not certain it is better either. It can target any permanent which means it can get a lot more done than Rush when used defensively. My first thought is that it could keep Planeswalkers alive in Superfriends.

Rush's advantage is cost and the +1/+0 bonus and lifelink, but anytime it is used outside of combat the combat bonuses are unimportant. When it comes to the cost difference the servo token makes the increase for Getaway acceptable to me, but maybe it makes Renegade's Getaway too slow?

I think the broadness of this card's targeting options makes it at least worth a second glance.

You still lose your PW as a state based action if they have 0 counters. It's not going to save them from a massive attack or a burn spell. It would only work against something like Dreadbore (or everyone's favorite card).

Universal Solvent + March of the Machines + 3x Training Grounds = new meta 2017.

You want Boar Umbra, not Board Umbra. Or if we're discussing R in AER, you might want Bored Umbra. When a combat trick makes your top five...

Autocarding in the front page is different so I get confused at times.

Reckless Racer might have a good role in a Madness deck

Magic's a simple game, 2 people take turns playing cards and in the end Divinevert wins 2-0...

Dunno, seems there's much better options.

Dunno, seems there's much better options.

The fact it replaces the card is pretty good, though. And no mana investment unlike Key.

The deck has plenty of Discard outlets already and they all cost less.

Yeah, but a card like Furyblade Vampire is a 2-for-1 opportunity, whereas this guy always replaces the card.

Might have a role in an Izzet Madness, too, which are slightly slower and just trying to extract card advantage from the madness effect, ala looters.

The only way removing Furyblade becomes a 2-for-1 is if you're not Madness'ing anything out of her ability, which is not a good scenario to begin with.

It would make more sense in this theoretical slower Izzet Madness deck, but that deck has been a failed experiment for me so far.
