it's just stupid to pressure kings to contact a bunch of challengers who have it in their best interests to not reply. This way, we put the pressure on the challengers who get bumped. MUCH better. Plus, if there were no challengers, the king shouldn't get dethroned (obviously). With Gem moving challengers to the waiting area or off the list entirely, this is moving it along much better, I agree.

Anyway, I'm playing Doey tonight.

I suppose this is the definition of challenger. I cannot imagine the king going to the home of a paesant, telling him "hey when you wanna dare to kill me? Do it soon or i lose the crown anyway".

Pure had it right, and then Gem got that part all wrong, but I think he understands now.

Also, in Gem's defence, he only threatened to enforce that when he had the most to gain.
