I have 60ish kegs to pop tonight, hopefully I get a bunch of the new cards in there to save my scraps for premiums.

What currency is that $5.19?

Well I'm in the UK but the price is always in dollars for me. I just assumed it was a universal thing.

On Xbox I get charged in CAD and I know there is a way to change your GOG settings to display local currency because I've seen those discussions on reddit. I'm going to assume it's USD so for me it'll probably be in the $8.99 range.

It showed 5,19$ (or something among those lines) for me as well. Should be the same for you as well.

Also: Dang, Skellige Discard got nerfed beyond oblivion and Monsters, while taking some hits, didn't take as many as I think was necessary...

Mulligan ST is dirty right now and is already all over the ladder.

So I should immediately mill everything I get full value for, correct?

Since realistically, I'm going to get about 100 more of the commons through kegs anyway.

I would go for commons and maybe even some rares that you don't think you'll be using. You can target getting them back because of the "choose from three" mechanic.

Well, if I'm getting full value, I can just ditch the rares, too, because the instant I want them back, I can just re-buy them and have lost nothing.

Right now, I have like 75 ore, 20 kegs, and about 7000 scraps. So with lots of milling, I'm hoping I can get to about 10,000 scraps with at least a competent Monsters deck to begin some grinding before testing other builds.

You will lose them if you spend all your scraps and want those cards before you reaccumulate them.

I had a full collection, just need to acquire the new cards and and have somewhere in the range of 60-70 kegs to open. Crafting the commons is gonna feel real bad. :(

I have about half the silvers and golds. I have a ways to go before I ever max out my collection. I get about 2 kegs per day through grinding, not counting leveling and ranking bonuses.

I spent a bunch of money because I was playing a lot throughout closed beta. Couple that with the CB rewards and I opened 450ish for OB. $$$$BOYZ.

Do not craft the Wild Hunt deck. It loses hard to Mulligan; the deck runs all 3 clears and out tempos WH even with Longship. In fact there has been very little that has troubled me so far on the ladder apart from Nilfgaard which is a wonky match up I can't call because there are so many variations floating about. Dagon point value loses and nerfs hurt and consume is beyond awful. Honestly I don't see monsters having much of a place in the meta. You either have to run insane tempo or hard control, so a variant on your Eredin control might work?

Francesca with Saskia is broken but makes for a pretty fun deck. I often have 6 units on the board first turn playing only ONE card (mulligan two Wardancers, play Blue Mountain Commando, pulls Aelirenn) which is then followed up by massive bronze units, lots of buffing and the choice of any cards from my deck. Iorverth may only be 14 points but he checks a lot of stuff, Saesenthessis is a beast that a lot of people don't see coming (it's not hard for it to be 25 points) plus Morenn means I have a surprisingly decent removal suite. Add Horn and Toruviel and it's a points fiesta. Elves are amazing.

Can you discern any weaknesses so far from playing the deck? New D-Bomb with Vesemir backup? Letho/Menno?
Something else? I have some playing to do in a few hours.

Decks need AOE removal to have a chance. You do fill a row for Horn so Lacerate can hurt (but even that can fail to make up the points difference). Letho/Menno would be a pain but I haven't encountered it yet.

The the most popular deck I'm seeing is Spella'Tael; it can be a pain but I've managed to out tempo if for the most part because they love Thunder and Tremors which just don't hurt enough. I can definitely see Eithne being tuned to take on mulligan if they go all in on AOE though.

The problem is that the deck gets out of hand far too quick. Starting with six units and then abusing Vanguard multiple times leaves your opponent on the back foot meaning even if you think they could win in a long round you can pass and they either have to concede the round letting you control the pace of the game or go into significant card disadvantage. The fact I'm hitting 100+ points a round without having a single potion in my deck and the deck is capable of 30+ point swings is stupid. I'm not even running Yaevinn because the card advantage just isn't needed.

The deck if anyone wants to play it:

Francesca

3 x Commando
3 x Wardancer
3 x Vanguard
3 x Officer
3 x Brigade

Roach
Toruviel
Aelirenn
Morenn
Ciaran (this could be Ele'yas, I prefer the lock).
Horn

Isengrim
Ioverth
Saesenthessis
Saskia

... is there somewhere I can find the full patch notes ... the official one is short on detail. "Numerous balance and ability changes and improvements" doesn't actually say anything.

I have the urge to not play until the meta is more figured out! I notice this quite a bit: I tend to not want to do anything for several days after a new balance patch (unless it's minor).

@vert, you got three days to mill. I milled Kambi, Geels and Madman Lugos. Geels turned out to be loyal but I didn't like the card originally so I decided to mill it now. Kambi and Lugos ... I'll re-craft them if they turn out to be good :)

EDIT: Lol played one game with my pre-patch Eredin deck and won anyway. Some of the cards feel pretty crappy now, but not having to go up against multiple weather clears is a huge boon. Reminds me of the time Dredge won a modern GP after Golgari Grave Troll got banned - nobody shows it respect anymore!

I actually like to play early in a patch because if you can find yourself a good deck you can zoom up the ladder and you aren't in a meta sh*t show like the discard/Dagon fiasco we had towards the end of last season. I'm of this week and intend to get to 4K ASAP. I'd rather play decks when people are trialling stuff and there isn't a solved meta than be bored facing the identical piles over and over.

I've built a variation of this to test. Cost me a ton. Turns out I didn't have much elf gold.

After playing a few games, the gold immunity change is bothering me a lot less than I thought it would. In fact, it is not drawing my attention at all. This might actually have been a good change in the end. Haven't really tried many of the new cards.

Just put this together:

Morvran

Stefan Skellen
Ciri: Dash
Avallach
Vattier de Rideaux

Auckes
Peter
Manticore Venom
Roach
Assire
Vanhemar

3x Imperial Golem
3x Nauzicaa Standard Bearer
3x Daerlan Foot Soldiers
3x Alba Pikemen
3x Alchemist

The old Ciri Dash engine in a Morvran build. Being pretty fun. Have yet to run into mulligan decks but I'm pretty low in ranked anyway.
