Thanks! Maybe Neb will bring his next tourney over here and we can ditch that old forum entirely! :)

Wow!
Cat, did they put us in the forum change review group and lie to us knowing we would defend the changes by telling everyone it would end up getting better?
That is how it strikes me now.

To be honest, it looks way too familiar. I didn't think to take screenshots, but I kept asking if things would look different because it looked bland as hell. I was told (not really assured) that Wizards would be adding their own design elements with regards to aesthetics and functionality and what we were looking at was merely the blueprint.
What I gathered from the test was, that I was looking only at the ease of navigation. He asked me to go to certain places and I was there in 3 clicks or less.

But then when it launched... It looked exactly the same. Bland as hell. I'm pretty sure you and I both said this to the community as well; This is just the launch, Wizards will fill in the background and company-ize the site so it's not so awful looking, and add more functionality to it as they go.

Only they didn't.

It's the same as I remember testing only with Wizards of the Coast related product words scattered about...

So yeah, at first I felt bad, because it felt as though I helped make that happen...
Now I don't. Wizards... Whatever is happening with that company's reps, they are messing up HUGE with their online stuff.

Sad too... 7600 posts over 7 years... Sucks to see that go...

I don't trust anything they say at this point. Because they want our money and have a shown complete willingness to screw people over after the initial investment. But then again, next year's game will have a new hat...........

Sorry - I thought the "new hat" comment was a Simpsons reference (I tend to see those everywhere I look)...

It was a Simpsons Reference. And I don't think Lisa Lionheart gives a realistic role model either.

No wonder Newt couldn't nail the nomination from the Republican party last election cycle.

Spoiler

Running through some cards get's me wondering even more about Wizards inclusions / exclusions in some decks.
Why couldn't Diregraf Escort have been brought into the mix???
It would have went a long way in making the "Big Three" into a completely different equation when the game came out.

That was my second thought about including that card Hakeem but with multiples it could have really made HS a serious contender for top tier status.

Also, can anyone attempt to explain why Scrambleverse was ever printed?

On scrambleverse, this article literally explains it.

http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/A ... ily/ld/164

So I know you guys don't want to hear it, but we have the Call of Duty disease. A ton of people are going to buy next year's version no matter what, and WOTC/Stainless knows this. Also..... if a single one of the following was left out of the game entirely, people would riot:

mono green semi stompy
mono red control
mono blue control
mono black control
human swarm
auras

The first 5 have showed up in the base decks two years in a row.

Back to inclusion / exclusion.
I really think all the decks with white in them could have benefited by including Order of the White Shield.
Everyone but AG.
**** AG!

And I think they should just go ahead and put spidersilk armor in the green deck next year. It's fun to theorize.

Now I kind of want to do that. I won't, but oh the possibilities.
