LIke I said, this is a work computer so I don't do the updates. Example; I just brought up the System Properties on this CPU and it's on Windows XP Version 2002 Service Pack 3. I'm dealing with hardware over 10 years old. And I work in THE State of the Art facility for all companies that do what I do. Hey, at least it has an Intel Core2 Duo CPU!!! LOL

I assume you work for the government? Because I can't imagine a private company would be that hilariously out of date. Yeah your hard ware can often be hand me downs but software? There's no excuse to let that get that far out of date. We could afford better systems then that and we just had to sell halve the company to the filthy unwashed masses our budget sucked so much.

Same here when at work.
I still run XP sp3 on my home stuff. I like it and feel no need to change until I upgrade to a new pc.
I don't want vista and am not crazy about 7.
I can get most everything to work the way I want it to, but I do upgrade my programs when I feel it's necessary.

Amusing because the only people he hurts are his fellow customers. Wizards clearly pays zero attention to the forums in general.

Someone actually got Sean to comment recently. He said they are working really hard on it and don't want to say anything until they have some idea of what they are doing.

Still, it only hurts whats left of the community over there. It doesnt inconvenience wizards to have some child spamming a particular subforum, only the users of that subforum.

Yeah... Devilwuster and I went to absurd lengths to combat someone doing that very thing once upon a time.
Today, I logged into the Wizards Forums (which was still my primary go to for now-this community) looked at page 1, then looked at page 2 and I was like " F*** this. I'm Out. "

Dude has been pissed. I would be as well, especially with the lack of info. But yeah, it really only hurts the few people who've not moved over here yet...of course, I'm sure it will be cleaned up soon.

I'm at the point now where I show no pity for Wizards. They really do deserve childish behavior from their customers due to their ignoring said customers. Their chronic lack of responding to major issues (or anything for that matter) is inexcusable, especially for how long it has been going on.

I didn't even log in there when I got home from work yesterday and just had a peek.
Now that the community I give a care about is over here, I'm going to let WOTC ride that out on their own.

It's amazing.

Cat, did they put us in the forum change review group and lie to us knowing we would defend the changes by telling everyone it would end up getting better?
That is how it strikes me now.

In all likelihood, I doubt they MEANT to destroy their website. Ineptitude is much more likely than all out malice.

Although I bet with less traffic on the Duels section, they can free up server space for their other subforums that bring in more cash somehow
