It looks like it may have been fixed. I found getting matches not an issue. Maybe though that when I quit app and restarted I had a message about signing into game centre. Checked that in settings and after that matches were found fairly quickly.

Played quite a few matches yesterday with no big delays in matching :thumbsup:

Not a bug.

Layers system; the flipped Abbey is a 9/7 Demon as a baseline; then Awaken alters its P/T making it a 0/0 (giving it counters later).


Ah. Subtle. So, with flip cards, the creature stats are there from the moment it enters play rather than from the moment it flips and get overwritten by awaken. Whereas with manlands, the stats are added via an activated ability which would occur at a higher layer if activated after the land was awoken. If you were to activate the manland first and THEN awaken it in the same turn, its base stats would be 0/0 instead of the manland base stats. Hmm... And if you were to activate, then awaken, then activate again? Guessing the 2nd activation would overwrite the 0/0 until eot?

Kudos to Stainless for implementing such minute details correctly.

Message on signing in today, "Some players are having difficulty matching". Nice to have it acknowledged. Not so nice that the "More Info" button doesn't actually give any more info...

Also, advice is to "try out decks against AI opponents". I'm sure we all love that...half the coins per match plus all my daily quests require versus battles...

Since AER update on IOS I have not been able to get even one versus match! Not one. Story mode completed. Cards collection complete. Deck ready. Disappointing, very disappointing.

Opposite for me. Following AER, got about five matches in an hour...best it's ever been.

Then today..."Searching for other players" and the Eternal Red Spinning Comet Of Doom.

*sigh* looks like I'll be asking WOTC to transfer everything to Steam after all, which is a Royal Pain as the iPad is far more convenient.

Oh no, losing another iOS player to one of the other platforms - Boo

Be interested if they do consider a transfer so keep me posted - steam has a great community but as I play a lot away its not as convenient agree as the mobility of iOS.

Something's wrong... I've 3 decks that go long.... I've won one game with them because the app crashes every time I play one of these decks... I can get through aggro games fairly quickly but it's frustrating after a long game when you're on 24 life, the opponents down to 2, you've got 8 lands and a walking ballista in hand.... then the app just shuts down :censored:

The GOOD: I've had MUCH better results finding matches since AER dropped. If I wait more than about 30 seconds, I cancel and immediately hit "Versus Battle" again... Since the new drop I don't think I've ever waited more than about 1-2 minutes for a match. It's been great in that regard!

The BAD: At least 50% of my matches have "Player xxx has been replaced by the AI."

The UGLY: I get a crash to desktop too frequently and a few cards (Ajani anyone?) are just wrong...

I haven't been able to get a Versus match in three days.

Every time I fire up the game (Steam) it displays a message about a cloud deck being different than a local deck, and it asks me which one I want to keep. Note I haven't fiddled with a deck in that time. But the message keeps coming back.

Once I get in, I can't get a match. It will sit there for a normal amount of time, like it's looking for an opponent, then it flashes one of two messages: "A player has left the game" or "A network error has occurred."

I have no idea what's going on. Thoughts?

Sounds like some kind of version mismatch. If you haven't touched it in a few days, maybe see if there's an update pending.
