Actually thinking on it more you could probably run it in a u/b control deck with 2 Tamiyo's Journal and Tezzeret the Schemer since his +1 is also pretty good with mechanized production (maybe 1 or 2 Confirm Suspicionsjust to get the journal going early, depends how fast things are) and the rest of the deck is just sweepers kill spells and counters and maybe diabolic tutor too I guess

If you play pia's or any other Artifact sacrifice effect, you can also protect it. And Yeah, We got Metallic Rebuke which is probably huge with clues, because you can say them tapped.
