I'd love to be able to ensure each player gets a chance to go first, but Duels doesn't allow it. We aren't doing sideboards in order to streamline the content and so we won't keep restarting matches to get the "proper" draw/play sequence either.

Aim for the 8th but there is currently no official deadline. I need 16 confirmed players before I set one.

You might want to make a list of alternates and have them submit decklists as well in case anyone drops out last minute.

Having alternates sounds good, but if that becomes necessary I'd like them to pilot the deck of the person who they're replacing.

When should I send decklist to DJ?

Any time up until they are due. They will not be made public, not even who has submitted (other than the total count), until all are in. After which, all will be public, so that the lists are locked.
