Seriously, though, after a few days away from the forums I want to thank you all organisers and participants for this. It was fun!

OK. So I just read the OP and it looks like I'm in the top of the hill as previous king and the Polish usurper is lurking in the shadows stalking me...

I've been away due work and as I didn't want to use the WiFi from the hotels (not secure) I couldn't download Kaladesh. I/ve also been away from the forums to avoid spoilers as it is really fun to get to build your own decks without knowing what other people is brewing yet. I just started today to do the ranks and went from 0-8 in a row with a funky deck that I just created. I feel like it needs some tuning though (the first wins don't tell you anything, really).

I will try to play tomorrow with Auunj if possible (very very likely). If not it definitely will be on Thursday. I would have played tonight but I really need to leave the house in a few minutes. Will keep you all updated!

Also, not that I wan't to stall this or anything but wouldn't be best to give people a bit of time to build decks and familiarise with the mechanics and cards?
We could start next Monday to give us all a few days to tune our decks. I feel like I will need to read during the matches the text of most cards that people will bring...

However if the Unruly Mob insist, I will be playing with Auunj tomorrow or Thursday worst case scenario.

Lionberry, start it when you like, but every match that happens is more information on what decks we should be building, right? So, don't try to solve the meta before playing. I played gemini the other day and he chose to play his bant deck from last season. I wouldn't go that far, just saying a loss is meaningless this early.

I could give you a hint about my three if you like...

I've a U/B, a G/R/U/B and a G/R......

getting a couple of games a day in and I'm up to rank 22... the meta is mostly aggressive
