What kind of combination makes you tap 2 lands to pay ?


Well, we don't play with Mana-burn anymore, so you can tap as many lands and use as many for x as you want.

You can tap 2 and just cast for

Omnath, Locus of Rage created a token elemental... and it entered play tapped. Probably related to the triggering land being a Mortuary Mire. (Really annoying loss of a game, I'd have won with Olivia, Mobilized for War on that token.)

Another minor bug, might be worth reporting if we see any card like void winnower in a new set.

in the final battle of the BFZ campaign if your opponent controls a void winnower you are forced to cast your skyrider elfs for the max value of x since the game refuses to tick down to even values.

Confirming bug that, despite them trying to make gold cap reset and daily quest reset 12am UTC worldwide for everyone, my reset time is 11pm BST which is 2 hours before the intended time.
Just means I get an easier time splitting my play time up which is fine by me.

We should start a focking encyclopedia or something, just found another one. I was playing Avacyn, sacrificed my elvish to my evolutionay leap in my turn. I pass the turn, in the opponent's upkeep she triggers, to which I respond sac'ing another elvish to leap. She transforms, does her thing, ok. When the opponent passes back to me, she triggers from the elf I sac'ed in the opponents upkeep and transmorms back into white Avacyn lol. So basically, if you respond to her flip by sac'ing something again, the abillity ignores that she's already flipped and flips her again.

I didn't think about that, but in that case I would have seen a spare mana "token" on the battlefield, and there was none at that moment.

EDIT: Just to keep all the bugs in this thread: Eldrazi Displacer's ability can target itself, as Goblin Rabblemaster reported here.

I'm assuming BST is British Summer Time? In that case, it's only one hour ahead of UTC/GMT which would mean the gold cap and quest reset is correct at 11pm. No bug there from what I can see.

No, that's backwards. Being 1 hour ahead of UTC means it's 10pm UTC/GMT when it's 11pm BST, which therefore means I am getting the gold cap reset 2 hours early.

Just used a flipped Jace's -3 to recast a clutch of currents with awaken from the graveyard, on an already "awoken" land making it a 6/6. Nothing strange there except that the clutch of currents didn't get exiled, so I was preparing to go clutch of currents again next turn, but then I won... Still, its a bug I hadn't detected pre-SOI update and as far as I've noticed, it doesn't happen if you don't pay awaken cost (in that case it gets exiled normally).

Edit: Actually, I don't think anything's getting exiled by Jace's -3. Which just made Jace quite a bit better... Until the patch (yeah, right...)

This is very annoying and happens a lot to me. Somehow the decks/players disconnecting I'm facing are always monowhite aggro... Also getting a lot of fatal errors and Magic Duels instantly shutting down. The times it happened, there are no similarities at all as far as I can remember. It only happens with my GR-c ramp deck tho :(

Hey I had flip Jace on the battlefield at the same time I had planeswalker Jace out. Is that ok?

After losing with a tuned deck to a 100-card fatstack twice in a row, due to priority issues, I decided to stop playing cards that are going to wreck my own deck cuz of this. One thing I found is that planeswalkers ALWAYS hold priority so I don't have to worry about this land stuff. So that's good!

You can have the creature side of a transform planeswalker out at the same same time as the planeswalker side or another planeswalker version of themselves out but you have to choose between the two once they transform to their planeswalker side.

Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet and Malakir Cullblade in play, a 2/2 zombie trades with an opponents 2/2 elf.

Result: my zombie dies, his elf gets correctly exiled, I correctly get a new zombie, and a +1/+1 counter on Malakir - but opponents elf didn't die, it was exiled, so Malakir shouldn't get the counter.

I had an opponent not attacking me with his Mage-ring Bully. I'm figuring it's a bug and not an exploit because usually the required attackers Juggernaut,etc, auto-tap at the start of combat and this one wasn't doing that.

Well there's a bug where you can remove them from combat but I haven't heard of outright not making them attack. I don't suppose it involved super bugged out Tithes did it?

This just happened to me. Opponent concedes and I only get the option to continue against the AI. Of course the game crashes after that so I lost rank instead of going up.

This what I get for writing a post when I've had a couple of pints :D

The bug with Jace, Vryn's Prodigy's -3 ability seems to apply to quite a lot of cards. I cast Displacement Wave with it and it wasn't exiled.

the game let me cast Horribly Awry on an Altered Ego with X=1. yes, my bad for not seeing that it was x=1. but still, the game shouldn't let me cast that on the invalid target, right? it didn't end up countering it, so I wasted the spell, which cost me the game the next turn :/

Someone else has played against people cheating with the mana pool and cards like fall of the titans or Displacement wave? The subject, 1cwhbc, was playing a 100 card deck, and he casted a fall of the titans of 31 manas with only 7 untaped lands in play.

Where I can report this propertly? This users shouldn't be banned from the game? Is the first time that I experienced this, I'm certainly surprised...
